I have joined this site too, and sorry to say this, it is not that great.

Why can't we get a site where we all can join to not only listen to each other music tastes, but also to trade them or upload them in one place?

There are torrent sites , soulseek, DC++ and hundreds of others for that. Why make last.fm illegal anyway ?

Anyway, why do you suppose that a site like this being legal is anywhere close to being better than the supposed illegal sites? I find that sitting here listening to random songs as entirely annoying. I want to select and choose what I want to listen to, not some random songs where I have to continue skipping all the time.

Because it's just like listening to the radio. Last i checked that's still legal. The radio still exists today even tho you can't change what songs they put on the air. So annoyance is not a good enough reason it seems.

Btw, i never used last.fm's radio. So i know next to nothing about - so don't ask me stuff.

well, i have it for over an year, and i use windows media player (yeah, you winamp whiners, i don't care), but for some odd reasons last fm has probs detecting those songs. Anyway, if what HC says is true, i'll give it another shot.

I play music through Windows Media Player and the only problems I had with Last.fm is if the player isn't turned off properly.

I was annoyed when last.fm only scrobbled the music that I played directly from my laptop and not the stuff from my iPod.

I've never had a problem with it in two years, using any of WMP, iTunes and Winamp.

Huh? I've always been under the impression that iPods were supported (I wouldn't know though since I could get a better MP3 player for the same price)

I think it depends on the iPod type.
