It's looking like I won't make it - my mother, who I have not seen in about 2 years, picked that very weekend to come visit.

I think we should get some final details hammered out. IIRC, downtown, you said you'd reserve a table a bit earlier. Are you still going to do that and if so, what name will it be under? Do we want to eat inside or outside? Very early weather forecasts are calling for thunderstorms that day, but I'd say they're unlikely. And last of all, I think a final count is needed.

Under the name "downtown"! It makes sense and it has the added bonus of being badass.

Outside would be awesome, I didn't realize that was an option. As much as I love thunderstorms, I kind of hope we don't get 'em.

By my count, it's me, downtown, Aegis, Red Door, Cheezy the Wiz, and skadistic. Jericho's got a wedding to go to, and Eran's gotta see his family. Six.

Well, this is tough for me to swallow. I'm really angry, but I will not be able to attend this Friday. This summer, I am going to Guatemala for a school service trip. Anyways, unbeknown by me, we have to chaperone a dance for underclassmen in order to go on this trip. This dance occurs on May 16th at 7:30, but I have to help set up starting at 5. I thought this was a bad dream as it unfurled before me, but it's true after a confirmation phone call. I'm really, really pissed off right now, I'll make that clear. So, unless you guys want to come to this dance (and I might allow you in ), you will not see Red Door/AlCosta. I'm sorry for the late notice, but I found this out tonight. Have fun guys, I'll need pictures and try not to sulk too much because of my absence.


P.S. - There's still a chance I might be able to make it early if it starts at 5:30.

Well, don't count me out yet. There is possibility I'll be able to wiggle out of this one, seeing as I have "some cousins" in town and if I help set up, I could be let go at 5 or 5:30. Official word coming tomorrow.

Em said there's a train station closer to her house than Vienna/GMU. I will be asking her husband about this in the morning and perhaps avoiding three extra hours of driving.

Cat provided with sufficient food and water to survive alone for four days. Dog entrusted to mother.

Caffeine procured, CDs sorted, and I'll be on the road in forty minutes. Hope to arrive in WV by 2am.
