OK, here are my ten turns:
(0) Check around at the tech scene, and Mao won't budge about giving us Engineering, so we keep Mono to ourselves (just realized how funny this statement is

. I just noticed now the effects always-war had on Japan: they are down to one city and falling.
(1) Fortress built, Irrigate around Pasargadae to let it grow now that we are a Monarchy. Another island discovered, but it is an iceball. Bactra builds warrior, starts on settler
(2) Nothing much.
(3) Another iceball discovered, another fortress built. Based on the fortresses we have, I assume we are building them all around our borders, is this so? I don't know whether we should fill them all up though: that is 18 units!
(4) Exploration reveals that one of the iceballs has a goody hut on it. I don't know whether this would be worth it, b/c we can no longer pop techs (we are in the Medievial ages).
(5) All those damn Greek units keep on shuffling back and forth, its really annoying. A settler dropped on one of the larger islands, The one to the East. Mao demands Dyes. I think I refused him---I hit enter, thinking it would temporarily exit the trade screen so I could check our island defenses, and he has stopped calling. I believe I refused.
(6) Now Shaka demands Incense! This is really ticking me off, but since we have our fortified border almost done, I take a gamble and say no. World peace is sustained. I decide to move our three defenders on the border of Rome to Zulu border, as he poses more of a threat. Sidon founded on the large island to the west with two goody huts and iron (we should name these, it is getting hard to tell them apart!). Goody hut popped on Bactra-island, we get 50 gold. Settler built in Arbela, I wake our fortified settler in Susa and send him to Arbela. Galley will be done in 6 turns: send them to the island in the west, south of Bactra.
(7) Archers keep on roaming Roman jungle. Our reorganization of border-soldiers makes Zulu border guarded; they'll need an ROP to get to our lands.
(8) Spearman built in Susa, I send him to Pasargadae (two warriors guarding a city? Not in this variant...).
(9) Chinese send galley into Gordium territory. Looking for trouble? Probably not, he doesn't have the GL

. Two more fortresses built on Greek border.
(10) Another fortress built. The warrior on Bactra island is going to pop a goody hut, the galleys by Bactra island are going to explore. I believe this is it for me, although I may have played one too many or one less (I haven't played a SG in a week, forgot about keeping notes in the beginning!).
Nothing too exciting, just settled another town, moved the defensive line, found a few iceballs, almost got in two wars.
And the save:
