Nope:smug: I don't drive!

$2.92 per gallon of regular unleaded

Yes, I do not drive over 65mph anymore. Sucks actually taking 20 minutes to get home school now.

Im only 19, and i dont have my own car or pay for gas!

I payed $2.69 last night and $2.79 last week. I pretty much only drive to and from work now.

Prices are half of what they were right after Katrina here.

But I don't drive, and gas prices have nothing to do with that.

Here in San Diego prices for regular unleaded (self service) today varied from $2.99 to $3.46 a gallon. Personally, we don't do much driving (retired) but we are eliminating unnecessary trips.

The realisation that I would get caught speeding, and I really don't enjoy paying fines changed my driving habits when I was about 25.

Gasoline in the UK is about £0.95/L at the moment I think.
NB £1 ~ $1.7, 1g ~ 3.8 L, so thats... just more than $6/gallon.

Hasn't really affected most people I think, except in rural areas. In Manchester most city workers train, tram or bus to work as the services are decent and there is very little inner city parking. I walk to work as its only 30 minutes. Weekends we still make lots of day trips to various places around the UK for liesure, petrol would have to more than double in price to stop us doing that.

Ow, that really must hurt to pay 3.50$ for gasoline. I know that you wouldn't, but others...

Changed you driving habits?
You know who needs to change their goddamned driving habits? New Jersey drivers! I despise watching the rudeness, the weaving in and out of lanes, the tailgating, the honking if I'm not going fast enough, the high beams to tell me to get out of the way, and all the rest of it. Good GOD, I hate New Jersey drivers.

The best gas mileage I ever got in my car was when I averaged ~90 mph. I got about 38 mpg. However, when going 60-80 on the freeway, my car usually averages ~30. I only went that fast once in my car, so it's not enough of a sample. But it's quite an important counter-example.

My driving habits have gotten worse unfortunately... Changed jobs and it's WAY farther from home.

Instead of 5km one way I'm doing 65... I think I have to move quite frankly.

Gas here is about 1.00 per Litre. But thats lower then it's been in a week or two.

Not really changed much. I was never a lead foot (well, since hitting 22 or so years old), so there isn't really much I can do as far as my driving habits to improve my gas mileage.

By the way, an easy way to track relative prices across the nation is to go to the Flying J website. I actually tank up at a Casey's right across the street from a Flying J because Casey's prices their 10% ethanol 89 octane the same as others' 87 octane regular.

Driving habbits have changed some lately. I have been taking the Mazda5 to work instead of my 29 year old Caprice (most of the time), so I've reduced the Caprice's driving by half. That isn't really much, being work isn't that far away, but it has made a difference to the family budget.

Last summer, I was a pizza guy, and put a whole lot of miles on my 85 cutlass, at 2.70 a gallon.

I moved to the city...and sold the car. I think thats a pretty drastic change. course, that doesnt have a whole lot to do with gas prices...

I can honestly say no. Only because I have no driving habits. The $5 for the express bus ($41 for a weekly card) is looking more and more like a better value even if I had the ability to have a car.

I'm learning how to drive.

I have no driving habits yet. Just to get in 25 hours of driving before June.

No because I really don't have a choice. I live about 15 miles away from my college.
