Tried to break alliance w/ Minor Allies so I could capture their empty cities (Namley Paris, Cherbourg and Djion) to defend from within them rather than hoplessley defend from outside, but as soon as I broke the alliance, they kicked my units out of their terrirtory .

Just so you know Mordheim, it's against the rules to occupy any French cities. I had a problem with this in another game.

Right then, thanks for the advice. BTW, can I just ask how this rule came about? Isn't ZWK meant to be a completley hypothetical scenario?
