Chinese using Civ AI?

Probably photoshopped, and even if it isn't, it doesn't matter. The Varyag is only used for naval air flight training anyways (in the event that China does one day build/acquire a fleet carrier), so it doesn't matter where it is. It could be in the middle of Xinjiang, and it would still do its job rather nicely.
 
I'm going to need a more reliable source than "the Register" (which sounds like a tabloid) if I'm going to believe this isn't fake.

Im pretty sure it's a russian carrier, converted to amusement park/museum.

I think they dug a canal and towed it into that lake and then filled it.

Eventhough i have to say China is neither our enemy or friend but simply our competitor that can in relatively short amount of time can build carriers faster than us if the economic trend continues with some already increasing military budget in the future.
