RegentMan awoke from his long nights slumber, knowing that he had a large task to do today. He would begin an organization in Fanatannia. The people in this organization will be devoted to this idea called "role-playing." They'll participate in RPG games and stories and try to begin their own. History has shown that this has been tried before, but has failed to resurface. RegentMan hopes that this group will shoot some life into this dying idea. He sips his coffee and awaits for what is to come.

Pete notices this group that tries to save something called the role playing game. He decides to join this little group which, he hopes, will grow and grow. Pete makes a sign. It reads:

Join the RPG! It's fun. The more people, it's even more fun. Join the fun!! :D

Fun? Signs? Refreshing beverages?
Oh well, two out of three ain't bad.
I'm in.

vikingruler slits his wrists to prove his allegiance to the great orginization of the RPGists.

RegentMan sits back and reflects on the first members. "We have ourselves a good group" he said to himself. He then got up and added their names to the roster. Calling down the hall to Nobody, RegentMan says "Was your comment a joining one?"

The chatter of those gathered in the new Citizen Group's building dies down as they hear steps approaching the front door. The door creaks open, and a fresh face enters the hall.

"Greetings, Comrades in roleplay!" he bellows. "I am Octavian the Tenth, and I come to join your group."

:D

I will join this, but in name only. I won't beable to take an active part.

"Aw..but yes we can have drinks!!" says Pete.

"We need to call a meeting to get the RPG off the feet. Do we have any suggestions anybody. We all need to work together to get it going. If we try hard, we will be able to! Any suggestion?" said Pete in a loud booming voice.

Well, I talked to TF, and basicly if something doesn't get started this demogame (and depending on the DG mods reactions) the RPG sub-forum will be removed. If it gets removed again, than I'm done with all of my efforts with the RPG.

It was a nice idea, possibly one of my bests (it was good enough to get it's own forum), but we just don't have the people to do it. That may change depending on this thread, but I doubt it will. I have no doubt that we could get the RPG going again, but I don't have the time to dedicate enough effort into it. I'm setting my priorities, and as I said earlier, getting the demogame stable again is at only thing on my list. Untill I can get my constitution passed, or something else that is actually sensible, your have you count the idealist out.

RegentMan also advises everyone in the DemoGame community to join that game and have some fun. In fact, if an RPGist has a story/game going on, give a link to it here and he'll advertise it in the RPGist headquarters.

greekguy looks at the guy on the floor with bloody wrists and is shocked. he then tells him "you know this is a role playing game, you don't have to do that stuff for real" the guy then gets up, thanks him, and checks himself into the nearest hospital. greekguy then states" i'll join, but i'm not going to spill blood over this"(at least not my own :mischief: ).

Is it possible for me to join this group.

"Yes you can join!" said Pete. "All is welcome! Remember the sign!"

How about Nobody's Caravan (i think that's whats it called). We can get that going agian. It was going quiet good until it stopped...

RegentMan compares the number of members verses the country's population. He deduces that about thirty percent of active citizens are calling themselves "RPGists." It is a good day for Fanatannia.

Well, there are to choices really:

1) Keep the RPG forum as it currently is, which does run the risk of being removed (not enough traffic to warrent its own forum).

2) We can attempt to bring back the organized RPG's like in DG2 and DG3, they brought alot of traffic (The DG2 RPG even threatened to leave no one playing the DG itself), but are hard to run and manage.
