This is based off of a forum game, but relates to civ. In order to find the best civ based on player opinion, we will use this method:
We start out with a list of the civs- each civ has 10 points.
I will add one point to a civ and subtract two points from another.
Another poster will copy my list and do the same thing I did, and then the next poster will copy his list, and so on.
Once a civ reaches 0 points, it is out. It cannot be added or subtracted to. The last civ above 0 wins.
You can only add and subtract every 24 hours.

Please bold the civs you are adding or subtracting to!

As of May 25, 2011, this is over! The ranking is:

19. Mongolia: So bad it dropped off the list

18. Germany: Der Dissapointment
17. America: Land of the Free, and Home of the Lame
16. England: Where the sun never rises
15. Ottomans: Sick Man of Civ
14. Egypt: Too much sand
13. Iroquois: Meh.
12. China: Their strongest warriors are terracotta
11. Aztecs: Sacraficed
10. Greece: Alexander the Mediocre
9. Russia: Because in Russia, AI beat you!
8. India: Nothing without nukes
7. Rome: I came, I saw, I did okay
6. Persia: At least they beat the Greeks this time
5. Arabia: One more turn!
4. Japan: Land of the Rising Civ
3. France: Vivre le Civilization!

Sorry bout changing your rules, but I changed it to two points added and two points subtracted. Also deleted the DLC civs, cause most players don't have them.
Ottomans are the best...Janissaries are so overpowered.

What? The game will go way too slow then, unless everyone agrees on a civ. Besides, you upped the scores on two civs!
The rules remain the same, but the DLCs have been removed and the score is this:

Changed it, subtracting is 2 points off. It seems like Germany will be the first to go- and since the Ottomans do have a great UU, I'd put them at the bottom too.

I just corrected the mistakes of others I raised china back up and lowered japan. they are not my fav or least fav but seriously?? who lowers one of the bettter civs and who votes up one of the lower ones!? Plus points to Japan? Really? And lowering China? Really? When the whole list is still there to choose from?

Arabia has the best UB in the game (or at least in most games) and an excellent UU. Mediocre UA though, but deserves more love than it gets.

Russia's UU and UB are both ok-to-meh, and the UA is overrated; the double resources only help you if you have strategic resources but don't have enough for what you want without the ability. With how easy it is to settle them, and even if you can't, how easy it is to trade for them or buy a city-state that has them, the UA basically boils down to "one or two tiles by a few of your cities get an extra hammer once they're improved."

I removed Mongolia since it's a DLC civ that was wasn't taken off yet.
