Must admit I'm amazed that arabia is doing so well. Their strong suit is in (mostly) peaceful games, an inherently weaker method of victory in most cases.

not really. get mass bazaars - sell 'free' lux, make RAs, win with mech infantry while everyone else is using rifles. (works better on larger maps)

And while it's no Keshik, I really enjoy the Camel Archer. I think they should make it not use a horse, because honestly that's stupid (You need a source of Horse to train a camel?). Between that, the Bazaar, and a reasonable UA (It's at least useful each game even if it doesn't give a big bonus) it's no surprise they're doing well.

Glassmage didn't copy the newest score, so it was off. When Bob_ corrected Persia, he should have also corrected Rome. I think the score should be this now (correct me if I'm wrong):

Arabia:13
France:13
India:9
Japan:14
Persia:9
Rome:6
Siam:14
Songhai: 15

Arabia:13
France:14
India: 5
Japan:15
Persia:8
Rome:4
Siam:15
Songhai: 14

Non-DLC civs, from best to worst:

Siam/Japan
France/Songhai
Arabia
Persia
India
Rome
Greece
Aztecs
China
Iroquois
Egypt
Ottomans
England
America
Germany

This is just the list so far, based on who got out and (for the remaining civs) who has the least points. Seems consistent with lists I've seen.

Why is India lasting so long? It only has a good UA. And I just want Songhai to win.

It also has one of the best UU's for very early conquest - 6 :c5strength: 8 :c5rangedstrength: 3 :c5moves: . Only the Babylonian Bowman (DLC) is as strong a ranged unit available in the same time frame - but the Elephant is more mobile, able to move to a hill and fire in one turn, or get away from danger easily. And like the Bowman, and unlike most mounted units, it requires no resource. And being ranged, upgrades can come very fast. A resourceless, strong, mobile UA? Yes please! With just a warrior and 3-4 War Elephants, you can easily outpower your competition until roughly the time of Longswords, and even then you hold your own.

It's only weakness is its lack of a viable upgrade path - a weakness many UUs share.

GO GO INDIA!

This is like when sports commentators say "If the playoffs began today." As things narrow, people might vote against the leader since they've been preoccupied picking on worse civs.
