Since no one has given the correct answer without the Great wall I'll say anyway

Stonhenge is cheapest at 120
Space Elevaotor is the most, though I don't the exact shield count

He said to include production multipliers, so I still think it's Three Gorges Dam. The way to decide would be, giving space elevator the benefit of the doubt and seeing if (3.6/4.6)*(Elevator cost)>(Three Gorges cost).

He also said to include requirements, which I assume means if something requires forges or hospitals you add those to the total hammer cost, but I don't think that makes a difference.

Tephros is right, the Three Gorgers Dam, just like bippukt said, the Space Elevator havles with aluminum.

On the other hand, the cheapest wonder is not the stonehenge.

@BakingTheArt
Requirements like Monument->Stonehenge

I'll take that to mean I'm the closest to correct, lol. I do recall that stonehenge used to require a monument, but I'm pretty sure that's no longer the case. I don't remember when it was changed.

Also I just checked on three gorges versus space elevator. Space elevator requires 2000, double with aluminum, three gorges is 1750. 2000*(3.6/4.6) = 1565. So 3 gorges is the answer.

Next question:

Besides the nuke: What unit, promotions, and situation would allow you to kill the most units with one unit in a single turn. Non-combat units (work boats, workers, settlers), and naval units killed by land units do not count. And how many can you kill?

Edit as of 5:30 a.m.: Cargo does not count either.

A Great General-embedded Destroyer with blitz, movement, nav II promotions: and round-the-world bonus = multiple attacks per turn, total of 12 movement.

Attacks a stack of 12 fully loaded transports, wins all 12 times = 60 units dead

LOL, now I feel like an idiot. I should have said no naval killing land either, but since I didn't say that you're almost correct. What you said is not what I had in mind and I'd give it to you if you were 100% correct, but you forgot the refrigeration bonus. So answers after this post will have to exclude the cargo factor.

In the question, you didn't say that you have to attack - while defending, you can kill a zillion units in the appropriate circumstances :crazyeye:

LOL... okay, okay I'll give it to you. I didn't realize how many exceptions I would have to explicate.

What I was going for was a warlord gunship unit, blitz, morale, versus a stack with a lot of weakened artillery. The gunship can flank 8 units at once as it kills another, and if each flanking hits and kills it can kill up to 45 units in a turn.

ICBM or tac nuke pwns that ( no naval combat too ) :p

Yeah I had thought of that exception. But that's lame because the unit is spent in the process, kind of like how you can kill an infinite number of naval units by capturing a city. :p

Not necessarily naval, but rather excluding cargo. The cargo one is also higher, at 65, but the land killing sea or sea killing land isn't in the spirit of honorable killing. :lol:

What better honour than to defend your motherland ;)

OK, let's go. The question is a factual one so as to avoid any confusion.

What is the maximum number of engineers you can have in a city? How?

You don't have to elaborate too much, just say in brief as to how you get that many engineers.

Note - This is NOT a trick question, so exclude anything which isn't called an engineer :p

My guess: 9

Forge(1), German UB (4), Ironworks (3), Industrial Park (1).

Yeah I just checked but... nearly ;)
