Civ3 Complete & iMac DV+

Although the official system requirements for Aspyr's pending release are G4 or better, Brad Oliver has stated that Aspyr no longer has G3 in their compatibility lab. Since Civ3-Westlake runs fine on the iMac DV+ then Brad's updated Aspyr version should run as well. Any body plan on giving it a go?

It's 450 Mz. "Just a bit" under spec. was Brad's comment but should be fine. My main interest in the new release is to be able to play multiplayer on our houshold LAN. I have Civ3-Westlake and in runs fine but Civ2 multiplayer was so fun!!

Hello-
I've always had to deal with slower computers when playing so I bring a book along to read while the AI makes up it's mind. However, Aspyr lists the OS you're supposed to have: I think it's at least Tiger, so make sure you're updated in that regard...

I think Panther 10.3.9 is the oldest supported OS, but you'll probably be OK with any Panther version, and you *might* might get away with Jaguar. Panther is probably the best OS X for a G3.
