Dale has stated that later tonight he will be uploading the Beta 2 version of RTW. From his statements, he is saying it would be best to delete RTW from your mods folder and than install the new beta 2 version.

I played the original for a while and then noticed this so I downloaded but did not get a chance to try it. Today I also updated to last path (303?). Now when I load RTW I do not get the RTW start-up screen. It looks like vanilla BTS with choices of all the civs. I chose Germany and get an advanced start (3 settlers, 3 riflemen, etc) in what I presume is a world map, starting in Germany with railroads and developed land.
So, it looks like the RTW map but no Hitler and no 1939. Did I do something wrong or is there a problem with the last patch and this patch to the game??

Link to download is broken. I wonder what became of this. I would have love to have played this mod multiplayer.

There was a technology shearing among the allies when I played Road to war as France without Add On Pack 1. Now I play with Add On Pack 1 as Poland. I am very backwards and nobody gives me technologies which France and United Kingdom have. Is it normal?

There is actually a more recent version of Road to War that you should check out. You can read about it at Dale's Road to War website and download the complete mod from this direct link. Note that you need the BTS v3.17 patch.

Sorry about that. Those links were to an external site and they seem to have changed around the file locations.
You should be able to download the mod using the links from this thread. Note that this will require Beyond the Sword, patch 3.19.
