I'm not sure what registering your name/civ does, at this point, as you get plenty of status data anonymously anyway (and lurkers/watchers can check it out as well).

when it asks "are you playing in this game? register your leader" there are two options: a drop down box of the leaders, and then "Registration Password"

next to registrartion password it says:"Your game administrator chooses this password. It is not your player password."

That's what I've been seeing in the logs since day one, and why I asked you about it on day two.
