First the Japanese emperor was otherthrown, in his place came the transitional figure of Shanihito. Shanihito oversaw the revolution, transforming the Japanese Empire into the California Uber Alliance.

Next we will be renaming our capital to Bakersfield, armpit of California.

The people of the CUA were not happy w/ Shanihito as he was not hugging enough trees, nor pushing evolution hard enough. So, he was deposed and in his place, arose the Shanenegger.
