I am playing CIV IV at monarch level. I do turns one or twice per day. But there also be some days that i will not ably to do any turn.

I have never done a PBEM game but I am up for it!

I can usually handle my own at monarch difficulty and would be willing to play pretty much any game type.

I have all expansions and am using the most updated version of the game (I think lol).

I would be able to make several moves a day (usually).

Nice username! Beerchugging doesn't prevent one from playing PBEM, I am proof of that.

Next time there is a new game just volunteer for it. Probs best to state your timezone though.

Glad you came! Still looking for more players (PBEM)? I'll be able to make more than seven turns a week. The settings are mostly unimportant to me. 5-7 humans and more ai is just fine by me. I haven't played around much with advanced starts but no big deal. I don't think epic or marathon would be a good idea which is where I've been playing on. I am patched to 3.19 but only because of some downloads on this site (which I'm sure is fine). What the hell is up with that in game patcher.

I've been playing noble but the ai are too easy! So I just started a monarch game. The bears are damn mean there.

Anyone here interested in PBEM game with Earth 2010 scenario? It is the best modern scenario on these forums -- check it out if you like modern scenarios. We need 5 players with each player controlling multiple powers directly or via vassal state mechanics:

1. American block: USA. Vassals are Israel, South Korea, Iraq, Taiwan.
2. EU block: Germany, France, UK and EU as German Vassal.
3. Communist block&Iran: China. Vassals are Iran, North Korea, Venezuela.
4. Russian block: Russia with vassal Kazakhstan,
5. Muslim block: Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Turkey.

The rest of the countries are controlled by AI. Standard victory conditions enabled. Human players cannot capture "independent" AI controlled cities (but still can have a war with AI). Every country starts with SDI to prevent overuse of nukes. Marathon speed, with default victories enabled. Active committed players only (48 hours per turn max).

Right! I think it is high time I stopped waiting for one and started one then. I will spend a day or two finding out recommended settings to make sure we get off to a good start and will setup all of the notification admin that we need. If any of you have any preferences then please let me know. I am more than happy to be the administrator for this - I know that I will definately be here until the end!

If anyone else is interested then PM me. I will start a thread once I have a plan in mind. I think it would be sensible to aim for kick off sometime next week - potentially Tuesday or Wednesday so I will begin the admin over the weekend.

Excellent, I will watch for the thread. My only real preference for settings is somethine with a low chance of giving someone a totally unplayable start. Otherwise I am up for most anything.
