If I were the AD at Meatchicken, Carr would be fired tomorrow. Losing his last 3 bowl games AND even worse, losing the last three to tOSU. That is just atrocious, but he'll probably be given another year since Henne, Hart, Long, etc all seem to be coming back.
Wow @ Boise. I've loved Boise State for the last few years, but I never expected them to hang tough let alone lead like this. I'm regretting changing that pick!

Don't worry, AlCosta, I was right there with you. After the pick-six by Oklahoma, I went to bed.

Chris Peterson has some guts doesn't he! OU should not be ashamed at all, and if I hear people in Norman saying otherwise, or any other Big 12 school saying otherwise, it will prove ignorance is alive and well in this world. BOISE was the one to grab the lead, BOISE was the one to dominate physically (AD had only 50 yards before OT, Ian Johnson dominated OU's line), and BOISE was the one to withstand a comeback in the gutsiest fashion since Vince Young.
Oh, and to cap it off, Ian Johnson proposed to a cheerleader on the sidelines as he ran off the field after scoring the gamewinning 2pt conversion. Incredible.
Best game I've seen since last year's Rose Bowl.
Oh, and can we add another L to Lloyd? I know it's not OSU, but I think it's deserving. Another showcase for USC, another whipping for Michigan in the Rose Bowl.

Oh, and Red, people have been saying that about Georgia Tech for years. Chan Gailey however, as I have maintained for years, is the WORST coach in division 1.
That team, with all of its talent, could not win the ACC in a DOWN year. How often are you going to have Florida State & Miami go 6-6, and have the best player in America on your team in Calvin Johnson?
They lost to Georgia 4 times in a row now. This year, they mustered barely any offense at all. If Shula can be fired for losing to Auburn 4 years in a row, but at least have a 10-2 season in there, Gailey should be canned for losing to UGA and barely being competetive in the ACC.
They barely beat UNC. 7-0 against a team without a win. Against a lameduck coach. This team plays with no heart sometimes, thier offense is perpetually anemic. Bennett looks good, but watch Gailey screw him up as he did Ball, who was once Freshmen of the Year.
They had the best defense in the nation last year and all they did with that was a mediocre bowl game and an embarassing loss to Utah. Georgia is an easy state to recruit in, I could send my dog to recruit there and pick up 5 and 4 star players. I am also sure any other coach (John L. Smith, Jim Mora Jr, Larry Coker, teh Cowher?!?!) could recruit even better.

, what a fun game to watch especially if you didn't really care which team won. What a coaching job in that game.

I'm hearing you, Al. Is Northern Virginia the only area in the country that went to school today? 10 days winter break is unacceptable. I had to go to bed after the first quarter because I was supposed to have two gigantic tests today!
Seemed like a much better game than the "classic" Rose Bowl I was supposed to see.

I had to go to school on January 2.I'm hearing you, Al. Is Northern Virginia the only area in the country that went to school today? 10 days winter break is unacceptable. I had to go to bed after the first quarter because I was supposed to have two gigantic tests today!
And I stayed up for the whole thing.
My teachers are nice enough to give all our tests on the day before vacation rather than on the day after.
