C&C 3 is out in 2 days. This game looks completely awesome. Classic GDI vs NOD, there should be no doubt it will be 2007 game of the year. I have already played the Demo, and apparently one million people have downloaded it, meaning C&C 3 has gone gold.

I have set up a clan with Ventrilo voice-chat servers and forums at www.clanidf.com. Also many veterans from Tiberian Sun and RA2 coming back.

Hopefully this will be the RTS that knocks all those goofy Starcraft and Warcraft games off their pedestal.

I enjoyed the demo too and was suprised how well it ran on my 4 year old machine. I'm really curious to see how well the scrin faction fits into the gameplay.

While it is good I would not go as far as game of the year. The game brings very little to no innovation, if it were not for the C&C name and storyline it wouldnt be well received.

:nope: Doubtfull.

The game seems more intresting than Supreme Comander tho. :)

Oh and it's not "classical GDI vs NOD" - it's GDI vs NOD vs Scrin.

Nope!

It's a lot of fun in and old-school fast and furious sort of way. I've had a lot of fun playing with it.

After Yuries revenge and Generals I am hesetant towards any game produced under the Westwood banner (although I will not deny their former successes). EA has a tendency to go for quantity rather than quality and I think this might be the case here.

Steviejay, no. They have a few weeks of Microsoft certification to go through.

They have never been on a pedestal, especially Starcraft what a pile of bunk.

I hope your being sarcastic..................

Nope!

Now there's something you don't hear everyday.

Starcraft is a pile of crap. Clunky interface, ugly graphics, boring storyline, zero variety in gameplay.

I wish Westwood is still with us . . . :(

I'm buying it nonetheless. It seemed EA learned some lesson from Generals and this will probably turn out better.

Louis Castle (one of the two founders of Westwood) works at EALA on their RTS line (including CNC3).

Brett Sperry (the other founder) leads up Petroglyph Games. Their latest title was Star Wars: Empires at War.

It is real masterpice and you say its pile of crap!!! Have you ever played it?

I would not call it a "masterpice" but also not a pile of crap. It is a good game, but I had alot more fun with C&C: RA (1 and 2) and TA.

Anyways, I got Command and Conquer 3, it is pretty well done, I am playing the GDI campaign (now on Mission 10); I still love Supreme Command (my fave RTS); but comparing the missions Command and Conquer 3 is alot better.

I do wish you were able to build walls.

In its time Starcraft was the best RTS. It is showing its age, now.
