Community Patch - How To Install

Soooo, I just tried a new game with the new version. Haven't played in a few versions now, it's been a couple of months! Anyway, ran the installer, installed everything properly, cleared cache. Now in a new game there's a few oddities.... I met a civ and it didn't show any text or anything on the leader screen, and it's the same when I try to talk to them. Also it for some reason shows myself and the other civ as George Washington on the top right using EUI.

Any ideas why? I'll try a fresh install of the mods again to see if it helps...

I'm trying to get rid of the interface that comes with this mod, I tried deleting all the mods I had and that didn't work so I tried clearing my chache and that didn't do anything and I tried deleting all local files from steam and re-installing civ and it still has the layout even in vanilla, am I missing something that comes from a DLC? if anyone needs me to I can provide screenshots to show im in singleplayer with no mods enabled and it still does this weird layout, thanks for the help.

It seems that both of your problems are connected to EUI.
@giggsidan: make sure your UI_bc1 folder is in the correct place (Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\assets\DLC) and clear cache and moduserdata folders before starting a game.
@Civ5 Guy: make sure your UI_bc1 is deleted from the aforementioned directory and clear cache/moduserdata folders, too.

Since downloading the latest version of the CP, I've been experiencing compatibility issues with the Closer Cities mod, preventing it from working, meaning I cannot settle cities within 4 tiles of another. Is there a way to rectify this please?

WorldChanges.xml - it isn't too far into the mod's folders

Hi!
After having some strange difficulties getting several Community Patch-dependent mods to work, I found out that your automatic installer (at least for the EUI package) gave me a CP mod that lacked a LUA file and maybe something else, too. I don't know if it something specific for me (and I doubt it), but I felt like I had to notify you guys.

CP, as well as CBP, shouldn't have LUA in them if you install the full package - all the LUA is located in the Compatibility mod. The only real consistent installation inconvenience that I know of is that sometimes the installer places the EUI (UI_bc1) folder in a wrong place, so keep an eye out on that.

Also since updating the CP, I have been unable to make fishing boats on sea resources, probably due to some mod conflict.
I'm using the following mods:
Spoiler :
Community Patch (no EUI)
Architecture changes
Barbarians - Unlimited Exp
Better City State Capture
Bigger Empires
Capture+
Caravansary Trade Routes
City States Expansion
Civ IV Leader Traits
Closer Cities
Enlightenment Era
Events and Decisions
Extra Victory Conditions
Great Person Improvement Yields
Historical Religions
Increase City Radius 3 to 5
Mercenaries
Cities in Development
Cultural Diversity
ExCE
Piety
More Happiness
More Luxuries
More Pantheons
Race for Religion
Reform and Rule
Separate Great People Counters
Slower Science Longer Eras
Slimline Ancient Ruins
Trading Posts Grow into Towns
Unique Cultural Influence

Is anybody else experiencing this or know which mod might be causing the problem? Anyone know how I can fix it without losing an important mod? Cheers.

EDIT: On a probably related note, I also cannot build the Great Lighthouse wonder in any of my three port cites, despite researching Optics and nobody else in the game has built it..
Lucky I can at least automate the work boats to fish themselves..

My tech tree isn't displaying.

I've installed this: Community Patch Project Full (EUI Version) [the auto-installing one].
And within CIV 5, after clicking on MODS, I have only enabled those within the CPP (EUI version) [(1) through (6)].

Of course, I've cleared the cache and ModUserData files before loading Civ.

After enabling the mods within CIV, I started a quick game, and noticed the missing tech tree (This keeps occurring with other mods enabled too),
so I ran a search for "UI_bc1" in the following:
\Steam1\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization V\
\Users\Administrator\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5

But there is no such folder. Nor is there a "bc1" folder. I remember this pesky folder from my previous manual installations of CPP + EUI (4-22-2015 version), which I got to work.

There's the EUI folder sitting in MODS\(6) - Community Balance Patch - Compatibility Files (EUI) (12-18)\EUI, but I can't locate it elsewhere (which I guess is a good thing).

(Yes, the tech tree shows for non-modded Civ V, which is .279 and blah blah blah, complete version, steam-updated).

Any suggestions? (other than 'install manually and see what happens')

Dunno man, I'd just download and place that pesky UI_bc1 folder where it belongs (your first path) manually if I were you. It's not much of a hassle and should most probably fix the problem.

I have used the automatic installer for this Patch (NON EUI VERSION), and I've deleted everything out of my cache, logs, and moduserdata, I've also enabled the mods in the specific order they need to be enabled in but I have absolutely no change to my game. NO New Luxaries, NO New Tech Tree, NO New Anything. I have no idea what to do I'm also using English as my language...Please HELP!:(

Make sure you press "Single Player" after enabling all the mods in the mod menu instead of pressing "Back" (:

I didn't think Increase City Radius 3 to 5 was compatible, though I'd love if it was. Have you noticed whether it's working or not?

EDIT: WHoward's version does seem to work fine, apparently since CPP is built on the same .DLL?

I seem to have the issue where the Civilizations do not seem to have their on unique traits. I played one game before trying to update and Rome had a Hammer Icon and a Town Hall Icon and now does not seem to have the traits and neither do any of the other civs. I have tried installing this mod over and over, yet I have come to a stand still. Everything else, including EUI, works with it.

I've had the same. That was probably caused by obsolete version of EUI. I think that automatic installer does not install EUI (at least for me). If you still have this problem, remove your current version of EUI and use automatic installer. Then check if you have EUI - if not, then install it manually.

Not sure I understand what you mean. Perhaps you could explain with a screenshot?

It's probably that people tend to alter their Steam installation path so often, which in turn leads to a different installation path for the EUI. The autoinstaller is whacky because it's unable to detect the true path and uses the default one instead. I'm that case, the installer essentially creates a fake Steam folder on your C drive.

I'm experiencing a seemingly minor bug since the new patch. Natural Wonders no longer show their large icons on either view of the map. Everything seems to be working normally with them other than the missing large icons. For instance, details are provided upon mouse-over, they provide resources, etc.
