Very big congrats. Turner_727's presence in the Civ3 has always been helpful and informative, and AlanH in Mac/GOTM has proved to be invaluable and an amazing asset. Both are excellent choices.

Good posting behavior? From an OT Spammer - er - Poster? Haha . . . NO!!!

Anyway, they must warn you, right? Otherwise becoming a Mod would come as a rude shock, you might die of a heart attack, or something equally nasty. I don't really want to become a Mod, I prefer THIS side of this Site, I am not that good at enforcing the rules, and I am not very consistant . . . although becoming a Mod might make me less likely to get banned . . . but it would take away from my ever-decreasing spare time, which would be bbbbbaaaaaadddddd . . .

Actually, it was something of a shock to me. I had thought I was being PM'd about something else at first, and when I saw the title, my mouth just kinda hung open for a minute.

I was never officially asked myself, rather, I became a chatop of the chatroom first (Gonzo_for_Civ picked me). Then, Gonzo and I kept asking for a Civ3 multiplayer forum, so we were the mods of that, and after some training, I was the mod of the civ3 section. But, I had my share of "fan mail" well before that.

And no, i was really just thinking, typing, and spamming all at the same time, while trying to make a bit of sense. My postws usually don't make much sense, for better or for worse . . .
