Speaking of horse rush, I don't think with this UA Mongol can even beat Songhai. Songhai can gain A LOT more money from barb camps and rush buy A LOT more horsemen, and soon outnumber any civs.
The UA of Mongol is seriously useless IMO, +1movement may be nice but 30% against CS? I don't even wage war against CS![]()
Now we are talking!
So what are the UAs, UUs and - possibly - UB?
Another horseman replacing UU for certain. And maybe even better than Greek CCs.
UB I dont know, maybe the mongolina yurt?
The UA is a difficulty one. Im pretty clueless, they were baddass conquerors.
Someone?
UUs are Keshik and Khan. No UB.
Interesting that the "Khan" is a unique unit--the problem is, how is it realistic to have multiple Khans around a map when you are, supposedly, the one Khan? XD
I imagine it's a Great General who can fight back or something. Maybe makes nearby mounted units faster too? Who knows. I kind of miss the Yurt, but I'll live.
UA does seem a bit useless. I suppose it's a nice way of stopping players going diplomacy a little easily.

Still weak. I preffer their bonuses as allies than their space. The UA can be quite powerful. Early extra cities are good and city states usually have pretty good resources. At worst, you can beat the crap out of their units to level up your units without much fear of losing.

There was more than one Khan.
It's a title of the Mongolian tribes.

Maybe this is in another thread, but I also note in that post that Babylon will be available for only $5.
There was grousing before release that a civ wasn't worth $10, but might be worth $5. Sounds like 2k agrees.
Other khans
[edit] Military ranks
The title "khan" was also used as a military officer rank in certain armies, especially following the decimal organisation (already known from Achaemenid Persia) of Genghis Khan's armies.[dubious – discuss]
Post-Imperial Mongolia
[edit] Nobility titles
* Khaan (Khagan) - ruler of the country.
* Khan - by the mid-16th century, there would be a number of khans in Mongolia as local feudal lords claimed the title for themselves. Khaan and Khan were 2 different titles: Khaan (long "a") and Khan (short "a"). Khaan was the title of the ruler of the country, while the local feudal lords had the title Khan.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genghis_KhanGenghis Khan (pronounced /ˈdʒɛŋɡɪs ˈkɑːn/ or /ˈɡɛŋɡɪs ˈkɑːn/[2]; Mongolian: Чингис Хаан or ᠴᠢᠩᠭᠢᠰ ᠬᠠᠭᠠᠨ, Chinggis Khaan, or Činggis Qaγan), IPA: [tʃiŋɡɪs xaːŋ]( listen); probably[3] 1162–1227), born B. Temüjin (About this sound pronunciation (help·info), was the founder, Khan (ruler) and Khagan (emperor) of the Mongol Empire, which became the largest contiguous empire in history after his death.
I would imagine, seing as that screenshot was from the scenario, that the Khan isn't a UU, rather it is a unit from that scenario.
