Coolest thing you have ever done.

I went skydiving once.

I also got a full ride academic scholarship to college years ago.

normal or not, that's a very cool thing. Did you did that? What's your book?

Well, it's a collection of poetry. :) I admit to trying to distance myself from my real life persona and as such I won't share it here. But yea, I did manage to do that and it feels kinda great. :)

 I must say that is really cool trully. I also love to compose poetry back then in my own language, actually I once have a gathering, and we plan to compile anthology of our poetry and we try to contact production house but none of them want to publish our poetry :( they said these days peoples publish poetry by their own expenses because it is not profitable. However there are couples of production house from other country (which have a bad relation with my country, not with me, because I don't consider myself have any kind of nationality) and most of my friends rejected it, only me (the vice president of the community) and the president agree with the idea, but the other rejected.

Why? They want the poetry to contributed only for their own national culture and literature and blahblahblah (while we have one female member coming from this country, she is the one who did the loby and she feel heavily misserable by the nationalist reaction) so stupid.

However one of my English Haiku is been accepted by Asahi Shimbun regardless of my crappy English, and that becoming one of few things that comes out when peoples type my name in google, I'm really quite happy about it :)

It sounds like I'm really lucky to live where I do, with no kind of vendetta towards another nation and no need to promote a nation. We simply need to write good texts.

Gratulations yourself with being accepted by Asahi Shimbun! That sounds awesome!

well thanks! it is awesome for me indeed, as far as I can observe it is only me and the president of our groups who pass Asahi Shimbun.

Yes, on that part you may feel lucky. I don't have any hatred toward any race or nationality, but whenever someone from that country ask me where I come from, I sense their treatment to me totally change and they were always stressing on talking about my country in negative manner , it is a pity really because we share lots of things in common. It remind me of one of my Japanese friends, when a Korean girl ask him where he come from, he answered:

"I am from China"

Interesting. It's fine you don't tell me. I understand the issue with mixing your personal life with your online persona.

This is cool.

I also have some publishing I will not mention here. Strictly electronic and uncompensated, but I did win an award. Mine is much lower brow--trashy romance with NSFW content.

Why did he claim himself as a Chinese?

There's a lot of bad blood between Japan and pretty much the rest of East Asia because of Japan's various invasions and atrocities.

I know that in recent years, South Korea and Japan are in conflict with each other because of a tiny island.

The root is much deeper than that Pegasus, the Korean also deeply resent the occupation that done by Toyotomi Hideyoshi and the massacre that done in those time.

Where many part of the world have a positive image regarding Samurai, the Korean see it with disgust and despise.

From my reading also from discussion the mass conversion of Korean to Christianity also shown as a sign of rebellion toward Japanese oppression, not only in the time of Tokugawa Christianity was banned in Japan, correct me if I'm wrong also during the modern day occupation Japan also banned Christianity and force the Korean to adopt Shinto and bow to the Japanese shrine.

The Korea rebel toward the coercion by distinct themselves from the Japanese by converting to Christianity. Maybe TK, Masada, or Phrosack can correct me if I'm wrong here. But that what I learned.

Lets see, the neatest thing that I can think of would be a road trip my family and I took to Canada a few summers ago. First experience driving for hours there.

Also of mention is three weeks spent in Italy with my grandmother when I was twelve.
