Hi,

I have no clue if I am in the right forum. I tried to search for similar bugs, but the search just spit out empty pages here.

I am using Civ4:BTS bought from Steam on Mac 10.10.2. BTS is Build Version 3.1.9.0.
C2C-Mod is the lastest from the website.

When I load the mod, it restarts, but during the initializing, it crashes with no further notice.

How can I go about debugging this situation? Does C2C actually work in this setup?

Steam should not even be selling the game any more anyway as GameSpy no longer supplies servers for multi-player over Internet. But they are all about the money and will cheat people of their money as long as they can.
I've boycotted them since forever.

Someone wrote about how to use a win emulator of some kind when on a Mac though, and not have the Mac version but get the PC version, and NOT through Steam.

The link to that thread is http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=541004
Good luck.
Cheers

As far as I know no mod that changes the dll will work on Mac. The port of Civ IV to Mac does not support them.

From what I can gather it's because of the compiler program that was used for the exe and dll. It may be possible to find a CivIV core on mac and if a compiler for the dll that built it properly could be run it may be possible. Don't look at me to seek that solution of course since I'm wholeheartedly a PC fan but I get why others aren't.

I play the steam version over the internet by lan game/Direct IP. You just have to right click it in the steam library and activate the beta version of it in properties; which is really just the old version before gamespy servers where shut down. It is then no different than any other PC versions of it.
