CrezNES - Another Return to Our Roots

The Balkans War

For a country that had just gotten out of a long, hard war, entering other war would seem to be quite absurd. However, this was not the case, as Tartessos had been prepared to expand its territories, especially since Russia, who was in control of the region of the Balkans, had lost all of his militar capabilities to Teutonia a few years before, which was what Tartessos had been counting on when they launched their invasion. Of course, the wilful joining of the Kingdom of Milan to the Kingdom of Tartessos had very much helped matters as they gave several new units for the army to better control the newly invaded regions, which were nonetheless very glad to join the Kingdom after Russia had mistreated them so badly with their armies.

Probably one of the reason for the success of Tartessos armies in battle was that they were always preceded by the tales of their courage and ability in battle and preferred to surrender, making it easy for the armies to take over the region north of the Hellenic Republic without a problem.

This was the first step Tartessos took in order to take over many important zones of the world, like the Caucasus, which would be regarded to be a wise move later as petroleum would start to be used...

Have you taken a decision regarding the possible alliance with the African Alliance?

EDIT: Hoping that the update finally comes today, and that the snowstorm stops to affect your life, Crezth. Also, asking people to say something, as this thread seems to be dying right now.

OOC: why, we have done all the diplo and orders, we are in wait mode until we know what to react to. Take yer time Crezth I'm patient.

OOC: I am being patient right now, especially knowing that there are several circumstances out of his control that stop him from doing anything. Had he not had the problems he has said, I would probably be a bit more impatient through my posts.

Update has been resumed.

Realistically, how long until it's ready?

The Great Asian War
The first Imperial act of the next two centuries of war was to surrender the home islands to Koryo in exchange for peace, on the understanding that the Imperial family and many notable nobles could escape to the new Imperial capitol in Singapura. Thus rearmed and unburdened, the Imperials turned their attention to the Wu. Calling upon highly trained Filipino subjects, the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps was formed, prepared to bring the fight back to the Wu.

Immediately the Imperials counter-attacked in China, causing heavy Wu casualties however greater Wu numbers ultimately prevailed, smashing the Nipponese assault force and pushing deeper into Wu.

At sea, the Imperials were engaged by a combine Wu naval force and Koryoan naval mercenaries just north of Taiwan in a giant naval battle. With a majority of Koryoan naval mercenaries making up the northern forces, the clash was shortlived as superior Imperial sailors made mincemeat of the Koryoans and Wu, smashing the fleets sending their admirals running scared, as well as sending the amphibious Wu army to the bottom of the sea. Clearly Imperial power at sea is unmatched.

Meanwhile, in India, the timid Imperial armies holed up in the Bengal delta, awaiting the storm as Betal-Darese forces swarmed most of India, now standing poised to take on the delta. At land, the battle does indeed look grim for the much crippled Imperial army. (-3 iron fleets for Koryo, -5 iron armies, -2 iron fleets for Wu, -3 iron armies, -1 stormtrooper for Empire)

Collapse of the Floridian Empire
Florida in these two centuries experienced a long, drawn-out downward cycle, ending in a final death spiral and ultimate collapse of the empire into over twelve independent nations. The decadence of kings and ducs in the empire and vast ideological battles over Elvisianity and traditional Floridian conservatism culminated in Orlando's grip over the empire being lost. In the fringes, ducs were assassinated without heirs, and the royal line based in Orlando and Tampa tapered out into nothingness. Finally, trade across the empire dried up and contact with Europe eventually vanished as the Azores were lost to a hurricane and Floridian colonists in Spain turned to Tartessos for leadership. With the world's largest market effectively disabled, its three primary trading partners have come to bear the brunt of a terrible century-long recession. The former Floridian states now forge their own path, independent and indifferent of one another, each one determined to claim a stake in the ever-advancing world.

Historians report that the following states were created in this time:
Auirin, the island nation based in Auir, sits pretty on its tropical island and self-sufficiency, having inherited a majority of the Floridian navy it stands to be in a good position.
Tampa won independence as a city state, the smallest dukedom in America, with the largest army of the former Floridian states, mainly untrained conscripts raised as an imperial guard for the Tampan duke.
Orlando may have lost the empire but relatively, it retained much power. Inheriting the majority of the army from the former Floridian empire, it greedily holds onto what lands it has, and is ever suspicious of the "savage, traitorous states" which are its neighbors.
Miami is the southern of the three city states, perhaps the least corrupt of them but also the most paranoid. Miamese citizens are determined, however, to make a good life for themselves nonetheless, however almost stubbornly refuse contact with Tampa and Orlando.
Georgin is just north of Orlando and also one of the least secure, with a mostly benevolent line of monarchs who rule over a peaceful nation of farmers.
Carolinia is yet still north of Georgin and the least civilized, a majority of its outlands under scarce control with a much decentralized national power structure. While they do have a king, his power is mostly symbolic.
Louisian is west of Georgin and perhaps the most zealous monarchy in America, with a populace devoted entirely to their king in Nya'leans.
Texin is a large nation, mostly empty, which is content just to get by from day to day.
Yucatin is a small, peninsular nation with scarcely any infrastructure but some of the best sailors in the Caribein.
Haitin is an island nation to the east of Auirin.
Ricin is a chain of islands to the east of Haitin.
The mantle of the Floridian Empire has been taken up by the former barbarous state of Mexico, which has enjoyed a renaissance of economics in a lesson of self-sufficiency as its driven citizens are determined to be proper successors to the Orlandoan dynasty.

UPDATE IN 48 HOURS

Very nice! :goodjob:

Ok, sure. How long until I can make new wonders? :D

Ahh, the advantages of having a small army.

@sp1023: The wonder cap will be increased in the Renaissance age, and increased again in the Industrial age.

So how will I be able to advance to the Renaissance Age without wonders? Tech points?

Yes, tech points, as nature intended. ;)

I'll take the remains of the Floridian Empire.

Story:

As the Floridian Empire imploded, there were twelve nations that resulted from the destruction. Their remains were in the southern border of the Chicago Confederation. However, they were very potent economically. They were one of the strongest, but an angry native changed that.

Qillaq grew up in the city of Monterrey, being an enslaved native under the Floridian Empire. Soon, he got enough arms to hold a small native revolt. At last, the coup overthrew the Floridian-born rulers and the natives took over the government. But what name would be perfect for the new rulers?

How about Mexico? And so, it was named for the formerly barbarous natives of the area. The remnants of the Floridian Empire had been destroyed. The Promised Land was still to be reached. So the Mexicans decided to take The Great Trek to The Promised Land, where Mexico would grow.

Current Events in the Empire of Beatldom

Much happened in the past 200 years. The great kingdom to the north, Florida, collapsed into several smaller kingdoms. This was fairly good for the Amazonians, for now their was little stopping them from expanding deeper into northern territories, and a possible chance to absorb some of the islands close by. On top of that, the Chavin, the arrogant people of the mountains, fought a bloody fight to prevent the relatively small Amazonian invasion force from making much headway. It was now known that more effort must be made to remove the mountain folk from the jungles...and the economic might of the Empire would see to it that it happened. Lastly, the fabled Fountain of Health was found in the islands off the western coast. This was indeed great, for now soldiers had a better chance at surviving severe wounds received in combat...which certainly would help when dealing with the Chavin. So, despite the minor setbacks, things were looking good, and the Empire was poised to triumph over all obstacles in the coming years.
