Crises of the New World Order

The Parliament proclaims that the recent Chinese invasions of central Asia is uncalled for, and you must retreat. War should be a thing of the past, as politics are now fought with words, money, and debates. Please halt your invasions for the world's sake.

China is fighting terrorism and is commited to rid central Asia of terrorism. After China got attacked by Kazakhstanian militants, they saw themselves forced to protect their people. This crusade is near completion. As soon as Dushanabe is captured and democracy is brought to the people of Tadjikistan, China will halt their advance and put all their strength into building up these nations, and remove the agressive regimes wich where involved in the killing of innocent Chinese civilians.

And if war is something for the past, don't mind me ask what you are doing in Pakistan?

I certainly agree with your respected parlimant that politics should be fought with words, money and debates. But sometimes that is not enough, although it should be. Innocent civilians got killed in the attacks performed by militant terrorists in Central-Asia, while we where working on internaland peaceful matters.

But peace is the ulimate target for us. We are comitted to peace.

Regards,
Deng

Strikes on Libya
Pentagon confirmed that an operation had in fact taken place against military installations in Tripoli. State departement commented on the issue: "We hope that this will lead the way to a democratic government in Libya"

'Allied' to go electronical?
At a press conference yesterday 'allied' representatives told baffled journalists that they were about to put the last touches to an electronical network called the "Internet". The White house has yet to comment.

President condemns the murder of Indian prime minister

-----------------------------------------------------------

Message to the parliament of India:

I'd like to send my deepest condoleances. Our thoughts and prayers are with both the victims family and the Indian people in these difficult times. We hope that you will find the guilty and can bring them to justice, this kind of terrorism is not acceptable.

On another matter, we offer you Agricultural subsidies, Electronic trading, Environmentalism and Liberal democracy. All of this for 200/tech. If there's any particular tech you're interested in, just ask.

To president Mordhiem:
We repeat our offer, we would like to trade you Freedom of information for Nuclear disarmament.

To chairman Eivind:
We hope that you will stop your advance in Vietnam as well. Right now you've gotten yourself into a full war there. Take it from someone who knows, don't get involved in a full war in Vietnam.;)

To the UN security council:
The recent attacks on Indian soldiers and the capture of Colombo by rebels shows that Sri Lanka is a powderkeg. The UN should defuse the situation at once.

We suggest the following:
Quick action against the rebel army. UN-forces (preferably not from India) will then secure the island. After that the island will be under UN supervision while the island's infrastructure is rebuilt. This will be financed by the UN. When the UN security council thinks Sri Lanka is in an acceptable state UN forces will withdraw and leave the island under continued supervision of a neutral state.

No state will be forced to support the military action with forces but the USA promises forces and money will be made available.

Croatia Welcomed into EU

Croatian and EU diplomats met today in Zagreb to confirm Croatia's entery into the European Union. Both sides thrashed out a deal that they were happy with, guarenteing Croatia would, as all other EU member nations, keep a strong local government and that tourism programs aimed at sending more holiday makers to the beautiful country would be put in place within the next 12 months. News of having to pay out more tax dollars for an extra member has hit the EU treasury hard, estimating at least $6bn in costs up front but this will be recouped quit easily over the coming years with increased revenue due to the move.

Gaddafi Captured as Libyan Government Falls

Libyan troops surrendered rapidly in the shorest conflict yet fought by EU forces. Once more special forces paratroopers were called in and quickly eliminated the pitiful enemy they found mremaining after multiple American airstrikes had wiped out any real military presence. The EU has agreed to 'babysit' Libya for the coming ears until it is deemed ready to become a fully active and democratic member of the international community once more. Presdent Mordhiem acknowleged US assistance in the raid, stating "Such a finely executed operation with minimal civillian and EU casulaties would have been impossible without assitance from the USN 7the fleet. We greatley thank thier valiant efforts and hope that US and EU forces can continue to work together in such harmony."

New Look EU Army Set to Roll Out

A massive standardization program has launched across the whole of the EU member states. Recently, problems have arisen during training exercises, and even occasionaly in battle, due to the wide variety of equipment employed by various countries in the EU. The EU council was concerned at the monetary cost that this confusion could cause in the future, heaven forbid it could increase the liklehood of battle casualities, so they placed one of their top officers, Gen. Dieter Stockmann, in charge a report to recommend any changes to streamline the system. Now the report is complete and several actions are being processed. Namley the standardization of all equipment from rifles to field radios to combat boots. Also, other seemingley less important actions such as the regulation of radio frequencies between member nations are being ironed out. The new look European army is set to become operational in 6-12 months, depending on the location and has been given a new designation, EUIC, European Union Infantry Corps.

Monrovian Rebels Finaly Subdued

EU forces captured Monrovia after an operation that seemed to last for ever. Admiral Garouche, CiC 4th Fleet, said he relived that the operation had come to an end after many months of sitting around waiting for land forces to arrive. "My brave pilots were icthing for some action, but we had to restrict them to bi-weekly flyovers of suspected areas to stop them running out of fuel, we had so much time on our hands. I hope that ground forces will be avaliable sooner in coming operations." The 4th Fleet is currently anchored in Montenegro, it's next destination is classified.

HMS Ark Royal Sets Sail for India

Helicopter Carrier HMS Ark Royal has been ordered to the Indian Ocean with a full aircraft compliment of 5 squadrons. It's orders are to assist in any way possbible with the terrorist uprising in Colombo and possibly further action against other rouge states in the area. It is currently cutting through the Red Sea.

Swapped FoI for Nuclear Disarmament, Pavlov. Those frighters are still on thier way (dammned slow cargo ships ;)).

President surprised but happy
US navy fighter pilots returning from Libya were surprised to see european paratrooper descending on Tripoli.

Admiral Carter on the 7th fleet commented: "We were just supposed to take care of Khadaffi's forces. Good thing that the EU could act so fast."

The White house reported that president Pavlov was "surprised but glad" and confirmed US will to cooperate with European forces.

I'll post my turn Friday night. Sorry, but I'm getting a cable modem installed and won't be able to access the Net until then.:(

The Russian government is diverting its Northern Fleet from the Atlantic to the Indian Ocean in an effort to assist the UN. We also request that China please stop its wars of agression and instead concentrate on pacifying its restless populace.:) Also, in a message to the EU, President Yeltsin wishes to discuss what will occur to the nations of Romania, Hungary, and Poland, along with the port of Odessa, which as of now form a 'buffer state' between the two powers.:)

President Mordhiem is as yet undecided reagarding the situation of Poland, Hungary and Romania. We of course wish that there remains some kind of buffer between our nations, just to make any possible attack even more unlikley, but we are aware that these nations are very keen to join the EU.

Mikoyan- Gurevich 29 fighters engage Insurgents in Tibet, marking the second time we assist China against terror. Can't you defend your own citizens, China? Or does your weaker ally have to do it for you?

Tamil Tigers are killed near India.

Pakistani marines attemtping to pillage farmland are destroyed. Peace talks are beginning between Pakistan and India.

Romania and the port of Odessa especially have great ethnic ties to the rest of Russia and would probably prefer the sovereignity of the Russian Federation over that of the EU. Poland hates equally Germany and Russia:), so either one of us could take it, or just leave it. I admit that Hungary sides with the EU and will allow them to join it.

Serbish attacks on Zagreb
National intelligence sources have shown that Zagreb is under continued pressure. Several civilians are believed to have been killed.

Pentagon reported on strikes against Serbian armoured forces west of Belgrade. Spokesman Jake Grundig commented: "It appears that European forces will be prepared to handle this threat but NATO-forces are prepared to assist."

Buenos Aires finishes the Internet
No further details exist at this time.

Many messages this turn:

To: President Leglaen

Just a quick note. Everyone is grateful that you are offering your Northern fleet against the Sri Lankan rebels. We fear that they may not come their in time, at least two carrier groups from the EU and the USA is on their way and will be there earlier.

To: The Indian parliament

We sent you Enviromentalism but it appears that your ambassador had a bit of a bad day. He demanded other techs and when we refused he insulted us. We'll try and send you Electronic trading next turn.

To: Chairman Eivind

The CIA tells me that you have launched an offensive against South Vietnam. We have gone to war to defend the people of Vietnam before and we would do it again. Your agressive behaviour has shocked the world, we suggest you back down from this conflict and focus on interior matters. You do as you want to of course but a continued offensive will not be seen lightly in the White house.

Kharotum Relived of Rebel Presence

City under temporary occupation until further notice.

Next Rebel Target Unkown

Reliable sources belive it to be in the region of South Africa.

First Brussels Class Commissioned

Chinese Expansion Frowned Upon

The Embassador to China has notified Beijing of the EU's protests.

Sorry for the short post, don't have much time at the moment.

Pavlov, take out a Serbian milita unit would you? If I kill one first then they'll regenerate for me making it impossible for me to capture the city, but if you get one first then I could roll over them easy next turn.
