As per the terms of an agreement between Russia and the EU, Russian forces have taken control of Bucharest and the port city of Odessa. It is hoped that this action will lower tensions between Russia and the EU. Poland has and will continue to be a 'buffer' state to ensure that conflict does not arise. That is all.

The Vietnam war was a fast war for China, compared to our American friends dispute with the country. Chinese paratroopers dropped in the city of Pnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh, after airstrikes over the cities. China is now settled and has begun peace talks with its neighbours in Indo-China.
China has struggled with an economic crisis, but has developed a raffined plan to save the economy. People are investing like never before and for the first time in a long time the budget seems to go in balance. A high class social system has also been a part of the next five year plan. The Chinese government has also begun a project; "everything but arms". Every city wich produces city improovements will recive the needed funds by the government. The people cheer over this demilitarization of its country.

India has begun the transition from a Parliamentary Democracy to a Liberal Democracy.
President to run for second term
President Pavlov announced today that he will run for a second term of presidency with massive support from his party.
His opponent, senator Wilkins, attacked the president for focusing too much on international affairs and ignoring the business of the United States. It is possible that the presidents new hard line against China is a way to show his determination and resolution.
Attack on Kuwaiti airbase leaves 26 dead
Armed men, believed to be disguised members of the Iraqi republican guard, made an attack on a US airbase in Kuwait. Ten marine corps soldiers, five maintenance workers and eleven civilians were killed. About thirty persons were injured. All the attackers were killed by US marines and Kuwaiti soldiers.
The planes currently stationed at the airbase were evacuated and the US servicemen there will be brought out later. The aircraft carrier USS Independence, currently on course to Colombo, was redirected to support the airbase. As of yet it is unknown what the US response will be, although outraged congressmen from both parties called for immediate strikes on Iraq.
Anti-pollution aid to the Russian federation
After reports from EPA officials in Russia the president has granted a $ 1,6 billion dollar aidpackage to Russia to combat pollution. He trusts that this money will come to good use.
GPS implemented on all US ships
All ships of both the merchant fleet and the navy are now equipped with the system that will not only increase the safety of ships but also their efficiency.
War in eastern Europe?
It appears that the seizing of Odessa and Bucharest by Russian forces was not seen lightly by neutral forces. In a statement from State department the president pleaded with both sides to remain calm.
Major fleet exercise in the Philippines
Elements of the Pacific fleet conducted a joint exercise with Philippine forces. Commander Garcia of the USS John F Kennedy took the opportunity to put down a wreath at the memorial to the American and Philippine soldiers defending the islands 55 years ago.

We have begun a downsizing of US forces in Europe. Two infantry divisions are currently on the way to Antwerpen, we hope this logistic operation won't hinder your internal traffic.
Oh and we took out a Serbian infantry for you. I'd like to ask a favour in return, destroy an Iraqi infantry for me.

After many lengthy disscoousions and conferences it was decided that it would be in the best interests of all parties that the countries of Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Hungary should enter the European Union. However after the decision was announced there was widespread rioting in the major cities of these countries, requirin the EU army to enter the region and act as a temporary police force. This was however looked upon by certain sections of the EU press as an unnesecary act of violence. This has caused massive uproar in the union and the European Parliament has been disbanded until further notice.

The so-called 'war' in Eastern Europe has come to a close. The Russian Federation does not hold any territorial ambitions in the world, merely to improve the lives of Russian and other Slavic people.
We are grateful for the American generosity they have shown to our embattled engineers. The remnants of Chernobyl and the economic disasters of what was once a militarized state must be eliminated.
