Crossroads of the World and Right to Rule DLC - themed predictions based on what we know

Can you build wonders from past eras? because, if not, then it might not be such a big issue. if you don't need a certain wonder and goes unbuilt, it might be just fine.
We still don't know. I think that with a very high number of wonders, the race for them will become less challenging. But I believe this is something that will be balanced over time with larger maps and more civilizations in each game.

Sign of Tannit would be okay, but a stylized date palm is the symbol they used to represent themselves. (It's a bilingual pun since Greek phoinix means both Phoenician and date palm.)
That could work too

Specifically, if you didn’t unlock the techs or civics that unlock said wonders, they are gone in the next age for sure. But it is unclear what happens if you unlock the wonder and it remains unbuilt by the time of age transition.

With Trung Trac getting Dai Viet as civ, does that mean every leader will eventually get its corresponding civ in the future (even far future)?
Well, technically Trung Trac (1st century) wasn't part of Dai Viet (10th century to 19th), but if you count Himiko and Meiji Japan like that, maybe?

Remaining: (Broad strokes)
Amina - Zazzau
Charlemagne - Franks
Ibn Battuta - Mabhrebi
Jose Rizal - Philippines
Machiavelli.- Italian City States
Simon Bolivar - Gran Colombia

Do we KNOW what the CotW Civs are, or is everyone here just repeating the same options?

I didn't really follow tonight much, so I'm a bit out of the loop.

Owned by my own disinterest in predatory dlcs - I meant the SECOND DLC. lol.

I hope we don't get the Qajars. If it can't be the Safavids, I would actually love to see the short-lived Zand dynasty.
I don't really want the Afsharids either, but they would also be better than the Qajars.

I believe the disassociated wonders coming in Right to Rule will be canonical wonders not included in the base game: Stonehenge, Great Library, Great Lighthouse, and perhaps Broadway.

I would love that, especially for Amina, Machiavelli, and Rizal, but I don’t know if it means anything necessarily.

I know the DLC roadmap is going to rub a lot of people the wrong way but I have to say I love the steady stream of content this game is going to offer. This is exactly what I wanted. It’s shaping up to have a whole ton of diverse, interesting civs!

I didn’t expect most of these but they interest me
Wish we got Aztecs and Edo Japan though

Almost certain you can't, there were no premodern Wonders seen as available (and if you do an advanced start... who gets the Wonders? or is there just a mad rush to build them all)
Also I believe they were listed as ageless and not persistent, which meant (don't remember if the devs already changed the text on the newer builds after some feedback from here) their effect remains but can't be built outside the age (only the persistent warehouse buildings can, iirc)

Those are based on datamining the epic games store, so they are accurate, and unlikely to change but of course not officially announced, therefore subject to change.
Noice! That's pretty good. We were going to get Korea anyway, and I like that we get Assyria and Dai Viet. Qajars are not my choice for Modern Persia but i understand the need to differentiate more between Mughals and Safavids;

Was ruminating on this a bit last night with some others:
  • Silla has a number of options, I'm partial to Cheomseongdae myself, but there's Bunhwangsa, Bulguksa, Donggung Palace...
  • Assyria could get the Library of Ashurbanipal?
  • Dai Viet could have one of the Imperial Citadels (Thang Long or Hue)
  • Nepal could have Hanuman Dhoka, Dharahara, or I think Kumari Ghar was suggested here as well?
  • Qajar could have Golestan Palace, Takyeh Dawlat, or Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque
  • Bulgaria could have the Boyana Church or Rila Monastery

Bulgaria's wonder should be Rilski Monastir or maybe Tsarevets Castle. Those are the two iconic edifices dating back to the golden age.

I see no reason why Assyria or Sillia wouldn't just get Dur-Sarrukin or Emile Bell by association, unless they're somehow not in Antiquity.

No idea about Dai Viet, but I'm happy they're in. Compensates for how long we had to wait for Vietnam's inclusion into the franchise.

Vietnam was in last game but its nice to have them back
That's what I meant. It took until the last DLC of the sixth game to get them in.

Tolerance Square would be a fun, if somewhat convoluted, Bulgaria wonder. Although historically it wouldn't want to be built with the synagogue in exploration era.
