I am aware that this is developing into a travesty, but I still lack the time and energy to go on with this. I am not going to miss 2008.
I will try to get a quiz posted around Christmas.
Ok, here's some questions for you. I hope I found a good mix of easy and hard questions. Hopefully there aren't any mistakes. Can't guarantee anything though. Also, this is a rather short quiz, just to get things started again...
I'm not sure whether I will give much feedback on your PMs or not. Depends on how busy I will be next week. Deadline for sending your answers will be on Sunday in one week. Hope to see many participants! If you don't want me to put you in the scoreboard-list, please tell me in the PM.

Revenge is sweet for Dachs - he improved his score with 6 points. Innonimatu takes the fourth place with 23 points, while Sydhe jumps in at third place with 26 points!
Would it be better to leave an open floor after a quiz? With the current rules, the people who "never" get a high score will never get the chance to make a quiz (like myself). It was due to the open floor I got to make this one... Also, it seems that some of the top players were a bit tired of making yet another quiz, so maybe a little rotation wouldn't hurt.
Hmm, I'd give preference to the winner of the last quiz to make a new one, and if they don't reply in, say, 48 hours, automatically open the floor. That's what is done in most other quizzes here, though of course this quiz requires way more preparation.
Go by ranking: the winner has 48 hours to state whether he will be able and willing to post a new quiz. If he won't/can't, the runner-up gets asked, and so on down the ranking.
Whoever is then 'up', having stated he will do it, has a week to post a quiz. Only after that is the floor open.
This way the incentive to answer and get a good score remains and we have a good chance (I hope!) to keep the ball rolling in a timely way.
I have got many good suggestions for 6b, but no one has got the correct reason yet. I think I will give you the name of the 5 persons in 48 hours, and a couple of hints in addition. I won't give any points for those who answers 6a after that.
I like your suggestion, Dragonlord. Any objections to it, or should we amend rule #2?
