There is still something wrong with the AI trading slaves. I was offered 200 gold by Mongols and Norse for a single slave. Afterwards I could buy them back for 50 gold each.
It was around 1400 after I conquered Aztecs with France.

I'd like to talk about an old problem that I remember you wanted to solve in the past. I'm referring to Vikings: they are completely harmless by the sea, their real historical way to conquest. They rarely attack British islands and they prefer to walk the strange road that they always build connecting Scandinavia to Jutland.
IMO, they should be more aggressive in several areas of Europe as they were, spicing up a bit High Middle Ages.
 
Is it normal that Roskilde's culture gets set back to 0 when the Germans spawn (and an independant Hamburg btw)?
I get it that you set the culture back for 1 round so they can put cities in their core (like the starting area for Turkey and Italy) but I even paid gold to get 400 culture from a random event. Now I can't even reach the copper anymore. :sad:

- fixed the slave resell exploit
- Moorish Corsairs now require Optics and Gunpowder
- fixed Bombard sounds
- new flip rules now also apply to unit flips and desertions
- reduced the volume of some leader soundtracks

Ooh, does this mean that 1.12 will be released soon? I'm fairly sure that the UN/AP was the last thing on the list to be completed before the release.
We're close to a release now. There will be a feature freeze soon and I will wait a couple of days in case more bugs.

I am aware of some potential bugs already, but cannot really do anything about them because I lack situations where they apply. Look into the bug reports thread for that.

That reminds me I should reupload some text files I updated a while ago. You asked if I could reupload them just before the release of v1.12 to be included. I will upload them tommorow.

Hi Leoreth, I just played as the Moors to try out the Moors UU and I feel like getting the conquerors event is easy as the Moors.

If you just trade with the Arabs and are able to keep Cordoba, you can research Gunpowder (or Banking) and trade it with any other civ and you'll have your UU, which can sail to the New World.

I sidetracked a lot in research and I still got to the New World before 1500 (which I think is okay). I don't know if that's a concern or not or the AI is just stupid in my game (I'm playing on Viceroy) so...
