i've corrected this interesting area south of Cestia / west of Davania (cf. Voyage of Princess ark part 5).
This desolated area took his name from the form of the peninsula (a vulture head). i've done my best to represent this, and add things to represent that if it was once a rich land, it is no more the case (chasm, pollution, desert).

Well, as we have nothing which is rocky and not green, it's not "perfect", but it should suffice (for now).

I imagine it will be a good area for colonies, and perhaps some small village, cause in the ruins of an old kingdom must still lie some rich ressources :-)

Don't be afraid, the locals, called Nagpa, are just some kind of neutral necromant "created" by an especially mighty demon :lol:

Nice work Arghis. I like the new LM Desert you have there. What should it be called? Maybe Dunes? OR we can just call it Desert with an extra space at the end so it will be the same as Desert. I like Dunes myself. Or Desert Dunes.

I've been thinking hard about those chasms. You think there is anyway they could be altered to not be bottomless? Maybe a rough interior showing the bottom? Or just a bottom?
 
Shrinking the chasm is a good idea. Only add a bottom if turns out good. If it just doesn't look good enough for you then don't worry about it. Just an idea.

For an update:
I'm in the process of adjusting units in the editor and writing out a list of unit producing small wonders and some Great Wonders while I'm at work. If anyone has any ideas for Great Wonders they would like to repeat or add, please do. So far I'm just giving generic names for the beta, where more flavor will be added, but anything added now, makes less work later.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I wanted to mention that I like the new look for the Vulture Peninsula. :clap:
 
Just to let everyone know, this project is progressing well, but not as fast as I would have liked. Still working on units. This is one of the most time consuming parts. I'll soon be putting together the units_32.pcx soon. I will post a preview of it as soon as it is done. Once units are done, then just putting in the small wonders (tons) and Great Wonders then making the tech tree. I'm going to ask for help when I get to the Tech Tree. After that is the text files and then it will be ready.

I give up on setting a release date because when I do something always goes wrong and I fail to meet it. And yes, it will be done before Civilization 4.
 
Yes. I'll be assisting the WoT and try to help with the DragonLance as well. I'll probably give more to the WoT since it is closer to my heart. Almost as much as Mystara.
 
We can still do that. WoT is Wheel of Time. I forgot about the Mythology mod. Packer-Backer had discussed it with me before, but then he kind of vanished, so for some reason I was thinking it was still him that had wanted to do it. Now I remember you had brought up the same idea a couple months after he stopped mentioning it. Yes we can do that. Myth and Wot will be priority. And yes I'm ADD, I can do more than one thing at a time. I have to or I get bored. Seriously. I actually play my Gamecube sometimes while I play my computer as well. Don't ask how though, it's a secret.
 
Mine would have been collecting dust because I'm a terrible artist and I would never have been able to really mod with the graphix that came with the game. :vomit:
I don't think anything left on my game is original except a handful of units. I even replaced many of those with better versions or flavors.
 
HELLO!!! I'm back woth a vengence. All units are added into the editor (almost 500). I will be adding more after the beta is started. For now I am working on updating or fixing graphix for various things. Then I will enter the Wonders into the editor. After that the tech tree and then going over all the little things in the editor and then I will type up the PediaIcons and Civilopedia texts after that. Civilopedia won't be fleshed out until the beta is started. That way I can enter details for the game and testors can find all the bugs and balance problems.

Meanwhile here is a latest preview of leaders for the mod:
