Dan rather innocent

I'm suggesting that these documents were seen by whoever, but on the condition that they wouldn't/ couldn't be released to the public, for whatever reason. National security, conspiracy, whatever. So that person then made his own version. But it's just a stupid theory, ve shall never know ze truth...

That person would have to have a pretty damn good memory to re-write the documents as your suggesting.

We all know the story is crap. Isnt that the fault of CBS though? Do anchors factcheck everything they read?

Hence why, according to FriendlyFire, the secretary who wrote them said that they were similar to the actual ones that'd been made, but not a faultless replica.

Similar as in how? There could be a few sentences similar or the majority of the document similar. From what I got from the story was that Dan gets ahold of the documents from that lady, realizes it's his wet-dream come true, and runs to the races with the story in the hopes of getting John Kerry elected since both respective campaigns had devolved into past military service qualifications (which Kerry eliminated when he turned his back on his fellow soldiers and claimed we're all baby-killers).

Sorry, but I'm not going to read anything from that garbage. Democracy Now is extremely slanted to the left and airs on "Free Speech TV" in my area. It's about the most far left nutjob show I've watched on satellite yet.

Shurgs like I said they have a transcpit on there.
Just ignor the sites own commentary and scroll down. No ones forcing you to read there left wing views.

I'm not going to explain to you the concept of a hypothetical situation (that probably didn't happen) for a third time.

He f'ed up, big time.

So we're supposed to believe that some guy just wrote all that based upon memory alone, but it's true even though there is no other documentation supporting it?

No thanks. That doesn't sound like a reliable theory, to me.

"wrote all that"? It's one paragraph and one extra sentence long, you don't have to have a photographic memory to remember a few lines of information (incorrectly)! I already said it's just a stupid theory, I'm not asking anyone to accept it, what more do you want?

If it is, in your own words, a stupid theory, why are you suggesting it?
