~Darkening~
Weep, Mother.
I do think the British could have put up a better fight. I mean the losses they had in and around Lille is sad compared to ours. Not to mention how poorly the French did, barely holding on to Paris. That is to be expected from such a nation though.
Wait a second, I know I'm not hearing Lucky actually act like he did something
. Last time I checked, his troops were being used for cannon-fodder- certainly not leading any charges. And I advise you to reread that section- we drove the Germans (and your cannon fodder) away from the Channel, and still held Paris. You do realize what was defending Paris from your siege, right? I had 10 infantry, and 15 artillery- not even half of what was dedicated to other fields! Your pathetic attacks failed against those few garrisons and militia- and that was the German attacks, nothing was mentioned about the Belgium doing anything on their own. All-in-all, France held her capital- not even dedicating the same forces to defend it as what was given to other regions- against the strongest army in the world, and her cannon fodder- when I quite frankly expected to lose it. That turn speaks more on how screwed up your alliance is than anything else

If you pay for your crimes, France will not meddle if your affairs. And quite unlike every member of your old 'alliance', France keeps her word.

Traitors deserve no rewards. Do not even pretend that your reasoning behind this unjust assault was the 'Spanish assault', as any cow with a brain could see how Spain was clearly not in blame of that situation. This war, from the start, is nothing more than the expansionist dreams of the Americans- look now at how they unjustly attack Canada. While you may parade around behind that "logic" you quote, we know the true reasoning of your abandonment- you're people are simply cowards. Too afraid to fight against the might for what is truly right, you run with your tail hidden between your legs into the dark night. Yes, France is aware of just how badly our embattled alliance is- and even with that knowledge, we still fight. The old order of this world may die out, but I guarantee you that we will gladly take a few of you along with us. We will not surrender to bloodthirsty aggressors- no matter how close or far away they are. For a nation so earger to look to their past and ancestors, you so willingly break their oaths and friends.
Should you remove yourself from this war, France would be willing to discuss the eventual turnover of French Indochina, but it will not be given unjustly. If this does not please you, then by all send your men to die senselessly like the other ignorant expansionists, and pray for forgivness from your people.
