This year is the year that the Arab People, yet again, have stood up as one against the forces of oppression that plague our world. They have sent the clear message that the right of National Sovereignty belongs, unconditionally, to the people. We have done this once before in recent history, during the Arab Revolt. We stood hand in hand with the British to destroy the evil Ottoman Empire, but, afterwards, our saviors became our Satan. They enslaved us under puppet rules and repressive laws.
But this year we have rose out of this and stroke back with all the might and power god has given us and we have succeeded. The hearts and minds of the entire region are with us- over 20,000 former employees of the British army have seen the true cause of revolution and joined us! Hundreds of square miles of land have been reclaimed.
Still, we require the Global Alliances support. Machinery of war is needed, weapons and munitions are essential. Some people claim that our progress is mediocre-less than expected. To them I say with full conviction that we shall not fail or falter; we shall not weaken or tire... Neither the sudden shock of battle nor the long-drawn trials of vigilance and exertion will wear us down. Give us the tools and we will finish the job.

More than a millennium ago, the prophet Muhammad left this city in the Hajj- driven out by the ruling class of the village, rejecting the Surah and Qu'ran, wishing to maintain the status quo. He left to Yathrib, now Medina, and spread the faith, and came back with an army of untold size for that town, all of whom converted to Islam due to the devine power of the scriptures. The city, the ruling Qurash class, realized their failures and submitted without hesitation. Today it has been repeated. Many here had grown comfortable with the British, and joined their forces. But when they saw the army of over 40,000 members of the Army of Islam amassed surrounding the city- prepared to fight the infidels of Britain and liberate the holy lands- they turned around, rejected their loyalties to their British officers and joined the forces of Islam; this is the power of Faith. Today Mecca was again captured without bloodshed, and again takes it's rightful place as the center of Islam.
Although I pray throughout the day that the towns throughout the Middle East will be liberated as peacefully, I know this is not true. Hundreds of thousands of British soldiers reject the faith that is before them and raise arms against our brothers throughout the world
Today is the day that every Muslim must take this offense personally, and strike back. By the end of this year we will raise an army one million strong, in sha allah, and defeat the enemy wherever they lay. We can no longer wait for the sands of the Sahara to take there time. Never give in — never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of faith.

We would like to request the freedom of the Bosporous straits for diplomatic courier vessels, it being imperative that the new Russian Empire establish relations with the nations of the world. If this boon is granted it would do much towards defusing the hard feelings between our two nations, though we still maintain our status of non-belligerency and neutrality.
If you prove agreeable we would also like to discuss under what terms the Russian navy could send forces to the far east to reclaim our wayward maritime provinces...

The British are not and never have been the rightful owners of the Bosporus. Those straits are contained within and protected by the Lion Throne of the Aegean Empire and access can be granted only by the same. Any further attempts to compromise Aegean sovereignty will be similarly rebuffed.

The United States fully supports the statement of the Aegean Empire, and notes that a breach of Aegean territorial waters will be viewed very negatively by the Global Alliance. Any Russian fleet attempting to reach the Far East would find such a task impossible without American and German agreement, as well.

Technically I'm trying to play IC, which means taking a tone of guarded wariness with the government that overthrew the Russian Empire. Their double-rebuff of my offers to help negotiate a peaceful solution to the conflict with the Monarchists doesn't help either, nor does their opening diplomacy with Entente members we're currently at war with.

technically the monarchists have rebelled and have not established any major victories as of yet, and as is often the case this is a civil war aimed at the head of state, not analogus to the ARW. In this case total victory is the aim.
