Border Defenses Praised by Russians
Khabarovsk, Russian Federation - Newly constructed fortifications and surface to air missile facilities along the Sino-Russian border have been praised by the Russian people, especially those living in the country’s eastern most regions. The extensive fortifications protect the otherwise vulnerable Pacific region as well as its key port of Vladivostok. This has been met with harsh criticism from the Chinese people, who see this buildup of arms along their border as an act of aggression.

Over two weeks of heavy bombing, shelling, and missile strikes killed soldiers and civilians alike before the army finally moved in. The Batswana military is in shambles and is scattered across the country. The South Africans are more likely to fight park rangers than soldiers at this point.

Chinese Flex Military Muscle, Bombs Myanmar
Mandalay, Myanmar - Swift and hard strikes by the Chinese Wang Hai Air Wing against targets in northeast Myanmar caused panic throughout the country. Fears of a Chinese invasion quickly spread while the cities of Keng Tung, Bhamo, Myitkyina, Mandalay, and Lashio were being bombed, which provoked a hurried defense. Scrambled interceptors and surface to air missiles managed to take down some Chinese aircraft, but the Chinese losses couldn’t be compared to the damage done by bombing. Nearly every military installation in the region was destroyed and a good portion of Myanma aircraft were shot down or taken out while grounded. Although a Chinese invasion never came, the army of Myanmar has begun constructing defenses across the country in preparation for the inevitable.

The defending army, quickly realizing their capital was about to fall, left only a basic defense in the city and retreated to defenses toward the Brazilian border. Much of the Uruguayan Army still remains to be defeated, but the Argentines enjoy air superiority and naval support.

The invasion is the first aggressive military action made by Japan since the end of the Second World War. Japanese warships and landing forces were met with islanders carrying out their daily routines. It was as if the people there expected it. The rising sun was hoisted over each island, with not a single eyelash batted by the locals.
