DarthNES II - Superpowers

To the USA
From the Republic of Indonesia

We are disappointed by your decision to host the conference in Tokyo, Japan, however we are still going to attend. We will be professional and offer some measure of respect to all countries involved and demand the same in return, most especially from the USA, Japan, and the Austral Union who have seen it fit to be disrespectful towards are nation. Otherwise you can expect our diplomat to leave before the conference has finished.

It has been noted that you have deliberately singled out only the Islamic nations to reprimand when you have, at your border, Mexico who has also claimed protection over countries without their consent.

We would like to ask all of you to remain calm. The current situation is very much confusing, and war over such small matters won't be useful for anyone.

We also would like to suggest that all nations that unilaterally stated their intention to protect other nations ask those nations they wish to protect before actually making those declarations.

We will also attend the Tokyo Conference.

I'm playing as Brazil anyway as we talked about on MSN, thanks for letting me rejoin.
Turning a metropolis, does it cost half your gross income or net income? Thank you. (Wait. It's probably the base since u used + and - signs for the modifiers)
Orders Sent.

Brazil announces a militant neutrality for now. It will not attend the Tokyo conference and will simply focus on economic development and a mild military buildup.

The sarcasm was noted and enjoyed. We are sorry that there seems to be bias in our diplomacy, which we will simply state as accidental and apologize for any hurt feelings. However, we wish to remind you that our statement to you was also a statement to the wider world, so it is conceivable that Mexico has received the message as well. However: just in case.

To the United States of Mexico
From the United States of America

We wish for you to tune in to ABC International on Channel 5, 7:20 to view a speech. We hope you can watch with us in case you missed it during our last public gathering. Alternatively, you can view this on virtually any internet podcast sight or diplomatic news coverage. (no need to respond)

To All Nations
You don't need an invitation to join the conference! Unless you want one. Sending them now, but feel free to come and talk. (The social group is currently completely public and open: no moderation or invitation needed)

EDIT: Invitations sent. Did everyone who wanted to go get one? I hope we can start discussion tonight, you know.

To: All whom it may concern
From: Japan
CC: Nuclear Conference in beautiful Tokyo.

We are honored to have such a conference be hosted in our capital city and we hope all the delegates from the attending nations enjoy their stay and enjoy the city and last but not least let's come to some sort of agreement regarding nuclear weapons.

Prime Minister of Japan, Akihito Tankuzumi

Vietnam refuses to attend the Nuclear Ban Conference, and will not allow America or any other imperialist nation to take away a viable means to defense from us. Long Live the Revolution.

Well, thank god that the United States of America doesn't care about the United Mexican States's SoI, and only the United States of Mexico's, whoever they may be.

To: USA, Japan
From: Austral Union

We will attend this meeting, but cannot make any promises, especially with recent developments involving Indonesia.

To USA, Japan
From India

We are attending.

Orders sent.

America is amazed at the progress the convention has done so far, and proposes that the convention goes for another week into feburary to finish up the job before releasing the treaty.

10/15 orders are in. Deadline is in 5 hours.

EDIT: When upgrading cities to metropolises, if you have an odd amount of credits, round down. So Omega, you would spend 5, not 6.

Why not be evil and rule it costs above half on odd numbers? :D

nah j/k... I'd hate that (actually I'll never buy another metropolis after round 1 I think, but it'd still be annoying, but nice in a sort of 'this is a harsh killer-GM wurld')

I've sent orders, sorry for the blandness of them Darth.

I'm not doing anything exciting either if it makes you feel better ^^, other than showing off and reassuring my populace about maxing out debt for megacities and some spare change divisions. I'm not even in that fancy conference you're the host off. : )
