Decisions, decisions...

I'm currently playing a monarch level game on a standard map as the indians. Just finished conquering my small continent, and can't decide where to place my fp, or if I should move my palace. I need some help.

atm, I'm thinking of shifting my palace to a more central location, conquering the iroquois, and putting my fp over there. Hopefully building it with a great leader. Not sure about it though. Any advice out there from anyone?

I would consider building a new city S of the Mountain W of Lahore (and maybe abandon Hyderabad), and then place the FP there. It should be central enough to keep production at a good level on the whole island. The island to the west is pretty small, so I would make an effort of finding the other civs (on a bigger island), and then place the capital there.

Well I was going to throw in my 2 cents worth but your screen shot is 2.3MB. Not everyone has high speed you know. If you save the file as a .jpg instead of a .gif it is a much smaller file and a lot friendlier for us who are stuck on dialup due to locale.

The standard way in such a situation
is building the FP right now (Kolhapur seems
a good place) and relocating the original
palace in the center of a new core, ONCE
you conquer a productive island.
(I think you will need time for that )
This way, you don't waste time
and your cities in the east will suffer
less coruption NOW!
Actually, you should have build the FP
already.

Sorry, didn't realise how big it was.

I do tend to take a while to build my fp, I probably lose a bit to corruption because of it. Thanks for the advice, now I'll have to make my decision.
