I've been nerding out on space stuff lately. For those of you in the ~Middle East or Northern Africa.. There is a TOTAL elcipse coming your way on March 29. I really wish that I could fly to North Africa or Turnkey to watch it. For those of us in North America, there is a Total Eclipse that will happen in Aug 21, 2017 that will cut across the US.

Also there is a big concern among amateur (and I presume professional) astronomers about light pollution. There is a website that is trying to get some reports about Orion and how many stars you can see in that constellation. Go to the GLOBE's website and report how many stars you can see.

But I don't think light pollution is a big concern in N Africa.
