Des Moines Class Heavy Cruiser (07-13-06)

Very, very nice Vingrjoe; you have made one evil dictator happy. This one is going straight into my current TCW game.

vingrjoe... I think this Cruiser is one of the best ships you have made to date. I could watch those Guns Fire for hours :D The more I look at it, the more I like the superb timing you have for the Guns firing, along with the flash, smoke and froth on the water, it is Very well animated. It has fine detail indeed and is a magnificent ship... Did I say I like it :D

I added sound effects for AttackA, AttackB, Run and Death. Look for file link in post number one of this thread.

A wonderfull present you gave me on my birthday, yet I didn't posty until lnow. Shame on me!

nice dood - i've always wondered...where you find all these kewl sounds from? :D

El Justo, most of them I just edit the existing sound effects from the stock Civ3 units. Some I search the web for.

interesting. is there a tutorial on how to edit them? or even how to create them?

Not that I'm aware of. You have to make sure to save the sounds as 16 bit mono, 22 khz pcm. I downloaded some freeware called Goldwave and Multiquence. I believe the programs give you the option to buy them, which I assume, unlocks more capabilities.
