Olga: Killing Barbarians grants Faith, and clearing Outposts grants Great Prophet points and a free Envoy with each Religious city-state.

So, you think if the victims are, "barbarians," it makes the odious mechanic more acceptable, eh? :nono:

Acceptable in what sense? My mechanics are not in any way moral comments
I explained my objection when I first criitcized the, "homicidal rewards," (outside the standard one of eliminating an enemy unit in war), and they haven't changed.

I know that, but there was nothing on my part to indicate that I believe that homicidal rewards are more acceptable in some contexts.

Other than your resue of the mechanic style, no...

I see you complain about this constantly as If Civ already doesn't use it a-plenty. You sacrifice the Melee Unit when converting Barbarians with Unifier's benefit, the game already allows you to kill Barbarians for exp farm and destroy their homes for Gold like they were cattle, Ceasar gets even more benefits from doing so etc. I get the complaint about how rewarding Muslim Units when they destroy themself is in poor taste and a historical misconception, that'đ one thing, but at this point you are nitpicking pointlessly.

This is a game where you can raze a city and it gives you a horrifying scream of people suffering when you do so, so...

Three mentions of distaste is NOT, "complaining about it constantly." Perspective and proportion - not to mention accuracy - please. Plus, I was mentioning my preference in general for the future iterations, not what may be already.

Should the Islamic Indonesian polities like the Sultanates of Aceh, Ternate and Tidore be considered part of the Indonesian civilization as portrayed in Civ6 or should they have their own civilization?

If they are separate, then maybe the Hindu Kingdom of Bali could be a city-state.

Though, the concept and notion of an Indonesian NATION begins with Sukarto, really, who, like Gandhi in India and most modern African national founding leaders, is creating a new nation out of artificial colonial borders and constructs.

You don't think there was enough similarity between the states of Aceh, Gowa and Mataram and others to merit being part of a single unified civilization?

I'm saying the concept of a single nation, people, and civilization was not there, previously. They didn't even all speak the same language (Bahada Indonesia is a linguistic contriuct to be a lingua franca, and is the Hindi and Urdu - or Langue d'oil - though even more calculated and recent - of Indonesia).

I think the "Indonesia" civ should just be replaced by a Javanese civ. It should include the Sultanate of Mataram but not the others.

Probably. Sukarto was also probably the first leader there who named the archipelago, offically, in Greek. :P

A Javanese civ that includes the Medang, Majapahit and Mataram, and a Sumatran one that includes Srivijaya and Aceh?

What about Gowa, Ternate, Tidore and others?

Fahd bin Abdullahaziz Al Saud - Once an oil resource is secured, a bonus in turning city-states to vassals and some mechanism to gain more influence in the World Congress (not enitrely a serious proposal) :P
