Despotic WW??

Greece declared on me but for the entire war we never met because they are on the other side of the pangea. This war lasted for ~15 turns. I offered a straight-up peace deal and Greece accepted. I checked F1 before and after the agreement, and my happiness went up after the peace deal. If anything I thought it would go down because of the loss of WH. Can anyone explain the increase in happiness?

Probably a glitch, since you never met. I have noticed War Happiness fades away when you reach a certain point, and can generate false War Weariness, but not in this case. When I end a war, I usually get unhappy folks. Was this a war that came from not meeting a demand, or someone allied them against you?

I can't recall for sure, but I'm guessing it wasn't from a demand. I may have been from an MA against me.

Wars via alliance, or ones you declared do not give any War Happiness. So you did the right thing in bailing out of that ASAP.
