I'm sure Civ XML on Vista is the same as that on XP, so tutorials should work the same (an exception may be the SDK).

it Should but for some unknown reason my copy hates me and wont let me mod

it was that it wouldn't let me save because it didn't recognize its file path but that problem has been fix with some advice

hmm. come to think of it, could you, by any miraculous chance, be willing to help with the modding of the regular project itself?

sorry i originally misread what you said.... I could maybe help with some small things maybe advice or various questions you may have for now, but no I can't obligate myself to such a large task at the moment. While real life isn't too demanding at the moment, I still have some things to do, and Civil War is keeping me very busy at the moment. I might be able to help more in a few months.

It does not matter, as this project is long gone. Cybrxkhan told us not to say so because he wanted to announce it himself when the time was right, but as it's been over three months now, I think I can safely say:
