Sluggish patching, half-baked UI and lacking AI are my grievances, all giving negative diplo modifiers that haven't worn off yet and they drop me below the threshold of advance lump sum trading with FXS. But I am still very much in the zone of making a trade on release, without waiting for any kind of sale.

Interesting enough, I received a 10% discount from Aspyr today for Gathering Storm. I have already bought it, but I do hope they are getting ready to release it concurrently or really right (edit) after. Regardless, I will be playing it on release day.

As I already mentioned in this thread, I'm still a bit bummed there wasn't a pre-order bonus from FXS and I'm still not completely sold on some of the new mechanics (namely World Congress) and Civs (particularly Canada & Sweden). However, reservations aside, @ that price it'd be silly not to pre-order considering all the content and modding possibilities that are included.

I must admit to being tempted by this. Possibly helped by there only being one thing in the sale that I'm actually tempted by but it wouldn't get me the bonus. So Gathering Storm and Holy Fury look like my buys this time around. Megacorps will have to wait.
