DipNES2?

Mine too, and I hope you don't NMR but rather NPC the non-order nations.

I'm going to assume the nations that I don't recieve orders from are in civil disorder, and NMR them accordingly. This will reward nations who actually send orders, while penalizing those who didn't bother to take 2 minutes to PM me.

MjM and Thlayli have both been on CFC within the last 5 hours. They both knew when orders were due, and yet didn't send them.

It will also penalize nations who did send orders, but who happen to have chosen the wrong allies, where wrong is in the OOC sense. Gee, NMR England and he won't lose much, half his units should hold anyway. But I will lose from it, despite sending orders. Not my idea of a fair situation.

I know, this is really unfair for you. But Thlayli has consistently been late in sending orders. He has to be punished in some way for it.

I'd be open to alternative suggestions, but I'm not going to postpone the update (though it probably won't appear until 5 or so hours from now), and I don't think I should reward Thlayli for being late by doing his orders for him. I made very clear that everyone could give permission for others to send orders for them, and no one did.

Well then how about NMRing all units that are not supposed to support an ally?

But how will I know which units are supposed to support an ally, other than by reading your orders?

And why should you not? Yes, I know that means a slight advantage for me, but it's only slight since you can see from before that Thy has supported me when I've expected it and the other way around. And if he wanted to betray me now, then he could bloody well take the effort. Which means the only way to not penalize me is to actually read my orders and see what I expect. I don't see any other way, no, but I don't see a problem with it. And I do see a problem with any alternative.

Given that TBR implicitly agreed, then fine.

TBR? But anyway, I'll take that as a yes, and I'm off to bed now. It'll be interesting to see the result in the morning. :)
