DisNES II "A Twist of Fate"

I'm up to my ears in work as it is and I'm already struggling to keep up with my NESes. When this one comes back online, I will not be able to give it the attention it demands. Therefore I shall have to bow out.

EDIT: And don't whine about posting at the top of the page, he's already reserved a spot on the last page ;)

After some thought, I've unfortunately come to realize my schedule is tightening up some, as I have various things competing for my already divided attention. That combined with the somewhat slow pace, a general decline in interest in the way things have been going, and the looming return of ITNES lead me to conclude that I should turn Russia over to someone more involved. Perhaps Silver might be interested?

At any rate, it was a fun game, Dis; look forward to lurking it from here forward. Good fight, das, though I'm curious how it would've gone on a more even footing from the start. :p I'll probably post up my orders sometime later in the appropriate thread.

Oh sweet Jesus yes.

Send me your most recent order set, and general information about what your plans and goals were. And diplomatic deals...

There you go.

There is a Russian idiom that could be translated as "from the fire and into the flame". It quite accurately describes my situation here. ;)

Dis, just how long could one little update take?

We have the same expression- "Out of the frying pan and into the fire" :p

This NES just got a lot more interesting...

That is, if anyone can find Dis...

Hmph. I thought that the English also have such an expression, but somehow despite all double-checking I had failed to find the exact wording and decided to use the Russian version. For some reason, btw, I thought it was the other way around...

According to his last post, it's done but unavailable to post. I haven't seen him on at all the past few days, either.

Err... Huh? I kinda concentrated on you for this turn...

Oh my. Then things got very interesting indeed. ;)

Err, you do realize that I quite officially refused them and gave you a counter-offer by PM and then waited for WEEKS for your reply, right? :p You have a mildly-annoying habit of ignoring MY overtures, so I assumed that its just a ploy to confuse me and make send orders later. Consequently, I panicked and launched a desperate, risky last-moment offensive to save or more probably destroy the Empire.

A bas la raison! :p

Coincidentally, I launched a conditional offensive on the chance you were busy elsewhere, definitively aimed at destroying your empire. ;) This update will be fairly interesting to see, even from a now outside perspective.

And now those damn ingrates in the Holy Roman court will see their foolishness. Ahahahahaaa!

No, I agreed in my orders to peace at current borders. Just incase you had left somethign in your orders saying to peace with me if I accepted your terms.

That would be wonderful from my point of view. :mischief: I'm glad I decided to act this turn else everything I had planned would have surely fallen to pieces.

Actually just because I CONCENTRATED on the HRE doesn't mean that I forgot about the rest of you.

dis???? Where are you??? Your posting in other threads but not here :(. Could you give us an ETA when the update will come?
