DLC Modpack Repository

Resync became more prominent for me. Possibly caused by my own hardware.

Nah, the problem is just the frequent resync for me. The host computer will stop responding while i'm stuck in a permanent loading screen.
Oh, ok. I've never had that really. However, I usually get issues when someone in multiplayer has a CSD or just drops out due to other issues and I invite them into the running game again. It works, but after that the game starts giving me occasional resyncs. Same goes for using that autosave. I usually go back a turn or two and restart from there.

We sometimes have this with our friend which have a bad connection. The most important point is to play with the "pitboss" option enabled, it disable the "AI playing at your place when your absent", so that a non-host have to quit and join back, the AI will not have played intead of him.

Any chance you can supply a bare-bones vox modpack without EUI? Friends and I are tired of crashes so trying to play multi by throwing out everything not absolutely needed

Hello, can somebody post the latest versión of the vp with eui? It's the 3/31b i think.
Don't tell me to do it by myself because i tried and i can't. PLS HELP

Are the download links on page one post one of this thread always the newest version ?
Or should I be downloading a version from the end of the thread (page 14 atm) ?

End of the thread.
The first page is outdated by more than one year.

What happens if I have the mod pack in addition to the regular download? Do I have to uninstall one of them
No you don't. You just don't need to launch mods every time you start VP game. I always play with Modpack, even Single Player, cause loading mods every time is damn frustrating. Much easier to make Modpack one time

Possible problems:
1) If you have both a modpack and a regular installation with EUI, you may end up with the EUI folder (ui_bc1) duplicated, and you will be in trouble.
2) If you have a modpack, you should not use any mod trough the mod menu. Having them installed is not a problem, but do not enable them!

So I should just uninstall the eui folder? Or the whole of the regular installation?

You just have to make sure you don't have the EUI two times:

Cut-Paste the EUI folder (Asset/DLC/ui_bc1) elsewhere. Launch civ and go to the "settup game". You will immediatly see if the EUI is enabled, since the "feature" of being able to se the description of unique units in the settup is an EUI feature.
=> If the EUI is enabled, it means you had it two times, so you can play.
=> If the EUI is disabled, it meands you had it only once, so you have to quit, add back the EUI folder, and launch again.

Alternative methods is to search in the DLC folder and your modpack folder (and subfolder) if there is a second copy of the "ui_bc1" folder

I don't think it is a case. EUI is a DLC, not a mod, it is also stored in DLC folder. I never uninstall or delete EUI, i haven't touched it a single time for 2 years. But i always play with modpack

Yes, but that's probably because you create you own modpack.
If you download a modpack of the EUI version, it will usually come with the ui_bc1 folder inside.
