DLC Modpack Repository

Here's a 3_11 modspack with EUI.

I have added the following mods:

1. FlagPromotions (v 7)
2. Quick Turns (v 10)
3. Unit Path Viewer (v 10)
4. UI - Improved City View (Vox Populi EUI) (v 10)
5. UI - Religion Spread (Vox Populi) (v 1.0)
6. UI - Filters in Trade Route Overview (Vox Populi) (v 1)
7. UI - Show XP in Military Overview (v 2)

Haven't tested it really but it should work as usual. At this point, the releases are quite stable.

I should point out that, apparently, using Quick Turns can lead to problems in multiplayer. Also, Flag Promotions in general may lead to issues when playing bigger maps with lots of units. Since I usually play small or normal, I don't have much experience with that, but some people have reported that.

This looks great! Thanks Hossanah. As soon as I finish my current game, I'll immediately start a new one with this modpack. This is the greatest community ever.

Have you tried loading a single player game from the mods menu using this modpack? This way VP is always installed by default and than any smaller mod mods could be loaded from within mod menu? Would it conflict?

Hey, no I have not, but since the modpack is basically loaded like a DLC, it shouldn't be a problem. However, if you only want to play single player you can always just use the regular installer (which installs VP as a mod in the mods folder compared to the modpack that acts as a DLC) and then add other mods.

Great, thanks for that! With my regular mod install, I use modded Main Menu+ModScreen [UI_CustomModScreen] [UI_SukMainMenu] and Textures [TTE_2k] which are DLC mods. Those are easily added into the VP mod folder, correct?

I'm normally a single player with traditional VP installer but I was thinking of moving to the MP modpack for multiplayer and to test for compatibility with other mods.

Well, I've only ever used TTE_2k, but I would assume that those UI mods shouldn't be an issue since they don't touch anything related to VP. In fact, since those are already DLCs, they don't even need to go into the VP (mp_modspack) folder. Just leave them in the DLC folder and they will be loaded when the game starts. Technically, there is no reason to merge VP (or the mods that make up VP) and other mods into one DLC like the ones I've uploaded before. You could also use the modpack from above (only VP EUI) and create another DLC from several other mods and then just put these two folders into the DLC folder and have them load at startup. You only get into trouble if you try to use mods which just don't work together for technical or content (including balancing) reasons.

I know TTE can just be thrown into DLC folder with the VP modpack and everything will work just fine. The other mods should be fine as long as they only change textures (and aren't full modpacks). Good luck!

Is that list MP compatible? If so, I'd love if you could do a 3_20 version of this, since this is probably going to last for the next bit of time.

That is MP compatible, of course. I'm in a game right now, but I'll put something together tonight.

this and my modpack.. All has something in common. It does not work well with Multiplayer. I tried figure out a way to play VP+EUI in multiplayer but it was in vain. It's not your fault @Hosannah . All the mods you've put had little to no problem at all actually :^). VP beta without EUI is also really good :^D. I'm going to do VP beta modpack without the EUI mod and compare it to the problem at hand.

Oh and is there any workaround to play EUI in Multiplayer? with lesser not responding program and such.

What exactly is the problem you've had? I found it was running fine for me. Sure, at some point you may encounter the odd resync, but that aside, I didn't have any issues.

I haven't had too many issues yet either. Just a resync here and there, but seems pretty typical for civ 5.

Resync became more prominent for me. Possibly caused by my own hardware.

Nah, the problem is just the frequent resync for me. The host computer will stop responding while i'm stuck in a permanent loading screen.
