Why so much Berserker love? It's a normal unit with the amphibious promotion - that's it! You know, that promotion that is never used - yeah, that one. I don't get it.

You missed the part about 3 movement, and it's synergy with the Danish UA, and Pikeman don't counter them unlike knights, nor do they have a weakness against cities like knights. The only thing it can't do that a Knight can't is move after attacking! The amphibious is only anecdotal, or at the most makes it so you don't have to move it onto land to capture a city.
I vote down the bowman because it's bonuses don't carry on, and it's ranged attack upgrades die after crossbowman, it's a useful unit but it's usefulness dies very early in the game. I find Tercios better because at least they have the cavalry bonus that pikeman have, and effectively replace longswords on your frontline allowing you to sell more iron or use more trebuchets/frigates.
