I just wanted to quote this, as it is such a critical point. If we learn Masonry, our Great Prophet will not 'bulb CS, nor will our Great Artist 'bulb Nationalism.Remember to not trade for Masonry as that will stop our CS bulb (we need to research/trade Meditation as well).
I'm leaning more towards red dot, myself. We have a plan to lightbulb our way to Liberalism and then take MT as our free tech. I'm thinking a strong production city would be a better long term asset. Of course, we could also lay down a lot of workshops in yellow dot. But workshops aren't all that productive pre-Chemistry.On which note a wee dot map

I was initially torn between these two but would probably go yellow as it is better long term (red is a nice hammer city but no real long term potential)
the Settler for 2 pop and dumped the overflow into a 3rd Axeman. I then started the capital on a Library, while waiting for it to grow back to size 4 (next turn).

This comment made me realize that I didn't post a screenshot of the world.A couple more cities in the east to halt Hatty would be good. Interesting we haven't seen where the others are though.
