I look for the content, not RD status.
It's a way to ensure a serious discussion and adjust my posting accordingly.
Depends on the content. RD is not a guarantee of an interesting thread.

EDIT:
To clarify. It is not just about spotting the RD prefix on your table of threads. It is about applying the RD-prefix at the top, where it reads "Display Options" in the header and "Prefix" beneath.

Well that totally changes how I should have voted in the poll. I thought you meant as in looking for RD threads to post in (or to not post in). But no, I never use the prefix settings at all.

I rarely use it. I only use it to find a certan thread. But for the most part, I don't use it.

I don't use that option.

But I did notice RD threads more in the thread list. I mean, it's bright red and in capitals - it's hard not to. They're rather eye-catching...

I used it a couple of times when it first appeared. But it really hasn't any relevance to how I post, so I've not bothered with it at all lately.

I find it reasonably unnecessary, as RD threads are easy enough to see and nothing really falls off the front page nowadays.

I look first to the subscription box on the right and try to remember what silly thing I wrote last. Then an eye to title content. I think the RD is useless.

Some of my threads were made RD - perhaps due to the merge - but I've never asked for them.
