Let me be a bit more specific: The permanent, long term homeless are mentally ill. Thats just a fact. The temporary homeless, people who have had some sort of financial setback and will only be homeless for a short while, those are in the minority. Please, are you lumping me in with Bill Oreilly?? If I caught him napping Id smother him with a pillow till I was forcibly restrained by security.

The homeless I have dealt with were no veterans of America. They were social leeches who contributed nothing to the state. Are you homeless yourself? Why so offended at me posting my opinion? Lay off the salad and eat a steak. Scum of hte earth... For the most part I would say yes. Along with many others I will not name. Sort of like respect and how it works for me. I don't give it unless it is earned. You can give respect out like it's free as you like, I don't and won't. Same with pity. Same with love. Same with money. I won't weep on a shoulder if I see a homeless person who is wanting to buy some Olde English with the money YOU gave him. Again, no hard feelings eh?

Does anyone know what proportion of the money donated to most major charities actually reaches the advertised cause. Correct answer - not much.

trolling may be bannable, i accept being banned for my comment (even how hillarious the reason for my ban would be)

But bashing homeless people in a harsh way, like you and other forumers have done, seems much more likely as a bannable offense, at least if you have any principles at all.

Bash the homeless? I stated my opinion. In MY experience, they are not people who contribute to a society they take from. Of course, plenty of people are similar who are not homeless. I feel no differently about them.

PRINCIPLES? I am not a sheep. I do not believe in giving up MY income to someone who is not worthy of it. I never claimed to be a good samaritan. A good samaritan and his money are soon parted. I can't run around worrying about anyone and everyone. Only the ones who deserve it. I personally have yet to meet a homeless person who deserves my time and effort. ANY PRINCIPLES AT ALL... Please.

You may have your own opinion, but there is a diffirence betwenn having an opinion and being ignorant.

In many cases it's the society, that have caused them to become homeless. So what can they contribute society, which can not contribute them?
