I smoke cigarettes. Camel filter wides to be precise, about a pack a day. The ghost of R.J. Reynolds came to me in a dream and assured me that I would live to be at least 100 years old if I did so. So far, so good.

had a menthol for the first time the other day though...never again.

Any camel smokers pissed at how RJR handled the camel cash thing? I smoked lights,filters,golds and special lights. Was up to two packs a day then just stopped.

@Mr. Dictator: Yeah, I like 'em. I've been smoking them for 20 years now. Well, I tried few other brands ( Lucky Strikes, Bensen and Hedges, a Canadian brand called X-Tra A I think...), but always went back to Camels. I guess it would be safe to say 18 years with Camels.

@Skadistic: I collected them early on and got a few things, but after a few years I just got tired of messing with collecting them. They've gone right into the bin for well over a decade now. What happened with them that would have ticked me off?

Camels have that unique blend of turkish and domestic flavours. Mmmmmmmmmm!!

Remember how you could get nice thing with C-notes? Well that all stopped and for a while all you could get was cheap poker chips and bobbleheads of pro poker players. Then they offered some nice stuff and now they are cancelling it all together. Right now all you can get is packs of smokes or coupons. Not to bad if you're a smoker but some states its illegal to get either. Heres the kicker while RJR teated its camel smokes with crap they were offering Luis Vaton hand bags and other high end stuff to the "urban" Kool smokers. It just sucks I have over 15,000 of them and nothing to spend them on that warrents the S&H.

also, the great thing about smoking is that being me, on a college campus, smoking instantly gives me a pool of friends with something in common.

its perfectly fine to start a conversation with a "do you got a light?" or "you smoke camels?"

eh, non-smokers may give us dirty looks on campus but its not like they dont have any vices.

I have never smoked and I very highly doubt I ever will smoke. It is a pointless waste of resources and life. One group of people who I knew very well once bought a lot of weed (whilst I never saw personally the weed, at least ten people told me they did and they told me they did it). The group, especially the person who bought it all changed for the worse. At only 13 they had dropped hope of getting to a good highschool and they will probably not get into a good college due to the fact that the school they go to is so poor and inadequate. Besides he fact that they did poorly academically they also became alot worse off in terms of their personality and behavior.
Whats the point? Just don't smoke! It's idiotic and it deteriorates your life.

imagine LSD you smoke, but its a bit stronger and it only lasts for minutes.

Qhilst I can't stereotype about everyone who smokes weed (which I didn't) I cna tell you the adverse affects of the drug proven true by science, and, to say the very least, they are not good.

My best advice to you, Never touch one again!!. I quit for a year and a half once, I took one drag off a cigarette and it was all downhill from there.
